First thing that went through my mind was that I wish she hadn't told me because I wouldn't be able to fuck her after this. I never did get to test that theory out though, because the timing of when she told me was such that we might have never had sex again anyway, due to an actual relationship I had starting at the time. To this day I don't know if she was telling the truth or just trying to get a reaction from me because she saw the writing on the wall and wanted to leave me with something to think about after having fucked her then ended up with someone else. She seemed genuinely down about the diagnosis, but who knows.

But yeah, it would be hard to bring myself to call her up for a fuck after learning that. I had mixed feelings about it after she told me, a combination of respect for her for mentioning it and at the same time hoping she doesn't tell anyone else so she can have a sex life.

Regarding STDs: I probably wouldn't take the risk. Even if you could avoid the transmission with protection, you're still vulnerable through oral. Granted, many of probably get cold sores (which is the HSV-1 strain of Herpes) but just not worth it, unless of course you love someone and then it is a different story.

Regarding privacy in hotels, etc: truthfully there are always ways she could figure out your name. Many here have talked about license plates. What happens if you go out to eat and the waiter happens to come back with the bill with your credit card while you are in the john? And so on. This is why I prefer to meet at their place or in a cash-only scenario whenever possible.

Regarding AM hack and SA: yeah, I am freaked out. I'm told there are a couple of things going for it -- one, it is not as high profile, and two, SA does NOT store your credit card info, rather, their processor has that info. Same is true for TER and at least one or two of the online porn sites I patronize (and have used my CC with in my naive years). So I guess you hope that even if a hacker decides to break into TER or SA or imlive or something, they aren't also able to get to the CC side and then pair everything up.

I will say this about SA -- I have quit them and asked to have everything deleted, and they say they cannot do that. The most you can do is deactivate, and if and when you restore, all of your messages are still there. That's a little scary.

Regarding the first fuck: oh yes that is often the best. The trick with something like SA is to make sure you do not make them think it was a one and done, but also don't lead on too much the other way.

HSV-1 is the more prevalent virus, with 65% of persons in the United States having antibodies to HSV-1 " from a public health study. You have a jewel my friend -because she is acting responsibly and informing you. Just ask her to let you know if she thinks she is getting an outbreak. HPV is also common. CDC stats for high risk HPV in 2010 is 20+% in the target age group we are interested in -20-24 yr olds. This doesn't even address all the other STDs.

You pays your money and takes your chances. Or -get out of the kitchen if you can't take the heat.

[/QUOTE]When the hack was announced, AM said there's no way CC info could be published because they don't store it, they only store a transaction I'd. That would be true of most ecommerce sites, however somehow the hackers got this info too (so either AM lied or the hackers were able to hack into a second source of data to cross ref the IDs).

I haven't seen the AM data so I'm not sure exactly what was published, but lots of these companies store the last 4 digits of the CC number along with the transaction num and those last 4 digits might be all the wife needs to confirm that the "John Doe" in the list is in fact their dear hubby "John Doe". Also since mailing address isn't really considered CC info (it could be considered simple membership info), a company could store that and still say they aren't storing CC info without lying, but in the end it would still get a married guy busted with the misses.

Personally I hope AM gets ripped a new one for all their lies, including creating fake female accounts and other fraudulent activities. They are scum just like the hackers that broke in.

So here is the logical problem. We use protection to prevent pregnancy because we don't believe the girl is on birth control AND to avoid possibly catching an STD. If she would lie about Birth Control, she would lie about being disease free in many instances.

So if we are "protecting" ourselves against women who MIGHT have this or that or MIGHT lie, is that protection not equally effective if the girl is NOT lying and tells you she has an STD. Logically, we are assuming ALL WOMEN might have an STD, so we are protecting ourselves. But how many men would actually fuck a woman KNOWING she had herpes. Probably next to none, at least not in hobby world. Why, because you are exposing yourself to a medical risk. But if you are "protected", the risk is the same since you have to assume someone who did not disclose might be lying.

But who amongst us would fuck the SB with herpes?[/QUOTE]You are correct there is no real protection against HSV. People positive for HSV can "shed" the virus asymptotically. Research has shown this happens often.

So what do you do? The first thing is go get a comprehensive STD screen. Odds are you already have HSV1. If so, the likelihood of a coinfection with HSV2 is small. If you don't already have HSV, then you need to weigh the risks versus the rewards. Odds are your baby or UTR are HSV pos.

[/QUOTE]I asked the same question, and the reply was that they use encryption and take user privacy seriously. Umm thanks now I feel better. Given AM's problem, any site that keeps deleted profiles is going to loose big in the courts.

What I did is change everything on my profile to garbage, and then I deactivated the profile. It's unlikely they're keeping revisions. I also deleted all of my sent and received messages. It may not help, but the best I can do.

In addition to the admissions about fake female accounts, it appears that fewer than 1% of the alleged women subscribers ever checked their messages. How may real women were on there? The 10 or so that were must have problems walking now from getting so much.

One thing to keep in mind about Trustify, it is an online brokerage for private investigation services. That doesn't mean that there is any risk by using their website for the e-mail check versus any of the others, it just means that they are kind of a double-agent because one of the core aspects of their business is to sell services to someone who suspects they are being cheated on. Sort of seems like a conflict of interest to me.
