I remember when terrorist was using Whatsapp because of the time they couldn't be tracked. Well technology has caught up to Whatsapp. The guy who allegedly killed those girls in Gilgo New York was using burner phones. His phone was tracked to his office and home. It's foolish to think electrical devices we use in 2023 can not be tracked. If you turn on your phone I can assure it's being logged. However would they go through this much trouble? Depends for example a girl is found dead in a room, they may go through her phone to see what happened. But to believe you can't be traced on a burner phone is not totally true.
