I've always just copied the link out of the address bar of my browser, entered whatever I had to say about a lady, hit enter twice to create a space between my message and the link, and then long pressed my screen until the paste option appears and pasted the link. This is how I do links on my phone. The process would be the same on a PC except you would just Ctrl Z or right click your mouse and choose to paste.
