At any time in the Boston area there are scores if not hundreds of available women within a reasonable drive time. They provide a wide range of services at a range of price points. Disposable income.

Personal hygiene.

My point is that the people who come under fire for "over paying" have their own set of criteria that differ from your own. That's their choice. And berating them is not only rude, but it doesn't change anything.

I have not been on this board long and I have not been doing this as long as you have but I have been doing this for more than a decade, since before the Great Recession.
And I have never been as dissatisfied with the market as I am currently. I am willing to spend. I've seen plenty of girls at $400+ and porn stars and UTR girls for much more than that.
But nowadays there are too many girls, ordinary girls with crazy price tags. My suspicion is that 99% of them are just "anchoring high" and wind up settling for far less. But I don't like to haggle and so I don't see them because, frankly, it's not worth it to me. I have the cash but I can't justify it in my mind relative to seeing a porn star who's hotter and better in bed or relative to some other girls in my rolodex. I'd like to expand my horizons and see a bunch of the new pricey girls instead of the same old ones in my rolodex but it's not worth it.
I'm enough of a realist to know that any sort of collective action -- monopoly conspiracies, cartels, strikes, boycotts -- are incredibly difficult to organize and virtually impossible to sustain. So I don't put much hope in tactics like DD's that call for boycotts of overpriced girls.
But I do wish we had more transparent pricing and market clearing prices, as we had in, say, 2007, even prior to the crash.
And the point of boards like this is to be able to find the gems who are delivering a lot of value. If someone posted a review of a mediocre girl for $400/ hour and DD replied with a review of a better looking much better lay at a better price point, I doubt you'd have any problem with him bringing price into it.
