He had to know I was way out of the direct path home. I told him I was just passing through. He asked if I was going home and I said yes. He told me to renew my license online when I got home. I thanked him and left. I didn't dare take a left on Westford or go down Appleton. This may have been my last chance. I'm not sure why he let me go.
