It has come up in discussion on multiple occasions but no one seems to have any intel.
I'm not a local, but I thought you guys might appreciate a report anyway. I was in town last week, and after being sick as a dog for most of my stay, finally on Saturday (my last night in town) I was well enough for some fun. Played poker at Bally's and won some, so I went out in search of an AMP. I searched up "Fortune Massage" on my phone directory, so I went there to check it out.
I was in good shape financially, and tired from being sick, so I resigned myself right away to TOFTT status and didn't work much on negotiation. I was greeted in the front room by an Asian man in his 40's, and I paid him $.3 for a half hour massage/shower. He brought me back, and I met an Asian woman, maybe late 30's.
I don't remember her name, but she's big for an Asian, but great body...nice rack, very curvy...just my style really. And, she speaks very good English.
Short story: shower was mechanical but ok, massage consisted of walking on my back for about 2 minutes, then the flip. She wanted $$ more for 'extras' and in a polite way I told her she was out of her ever loving mind. Like I said, I was tired and just didn't have any negotiation in me re: cost v. what service etc. , so I told her I'd go $.2, and that was it (ya I know, hard bargain...ugh). For that money, I got a no-touching, no nudity at all, mechanical one handed HE.
As you can imagine, I won't be back.
I'll be back in Vegas at the end of June, and I'll do my best to put my bests mongering foot forward and a) have a great time and b) post up a good, positive report.

The City of Las Vegas has shut down a tanning salon that police say was a front for prostitution. The business lost its license after undercover detectives learned massages at the tanning salon were going too far.
Illegal sex acts are a problem Metro Vice officers continue to fight. Police got some anonymous tips that the Hawaii Relax Tanning and Spa had some shady business going on behind closed doors.
The city says the shop didn't even have the right license to be open in the first place. The spa is now closed.
A recent City Council meeting bordered on being x-rated. The owner of the tanning salon hoped to renew his business license while city staff wanted the place shutdown.
"I personally have received massages in this place and have been solicited for acts of prostitution," said Metro Detective Jeff Gentry.
The city says the shop did not have the license to even be a massage parlor. Authorities say some women were turning tricks in a place that wasn't exactly what it was advertised as.
"There is only one tanning bed on the premises," said Jim Difiore with the City of Las Vegas Business Services.
Metro Vice Lt. Karen Hughes says Metro aggressively enforces prostitution laws across the board, "We have a lot of businesses where the employees will try to make their massage license to the next level and offer acts of prostitution."
She says some massage parlors are legitimate, but others are part of the world's oldest profession, "It's not a victimless crime. These girls often fall prey to deception and fall prey to the violence."
A woman answering the phone at Hawaii Relax says nothing illegal went on.
"Why do we have people acting as bodyguards and out in the parking lots? Why do we have women dressed in lingerie running around bearing their breasts? Why do we have women inside offering sex acts for money?" asked Las Vegas City Attorney Brad Jerbic.
The City Council voted to strip the Hawaii Relax Tanning and Spa of its license.
The attorney for the salon says none of the ladies working there have been convicted of any crimes. The owner is also not accused of any criminal wrongdoing.

There would have to be the possibility that something could happen for the police to shut them down. By all reports, nothing ever happens at Hot Bodies.
So basically it is just fine that LE lets operations that are basically scams to fleece people out of cash through intimidation or outright theft, but it is not okay to actually make a person feel good for that same money. Oh heavens no!
I know its an old arguement, but it still fries my noodle that LE and state lawmaker cannot see the golden oportunity available here if they werew simply to legitimize these places. It would seem to be an even better opportunity now, given the current economy.

Forgetting that it was the 'sin' image that made Vegas, and the state of Nevada money in the first place
The other thing you have to contend with are the owners of the legal brothels who don't want the competition that would hurt their profits.

He has been looking at property in Reno to open a casino/brothel.
Im not sure about the places closer to LV. They would have to adapt or they would go out of business within the week.
Personally, I like it the way it is. With legalization comes comercialism.

While Dennis is well know he is nothing compared to the casino companies they pay the bulk of the state taxes in Nevada. Nevada will will have a state income tax before they allow prostitution statewide. They are not that desperate yet.
I've never seen a mamasan there. Usually just 1 or 2 girls.
