I was watching those international mongering videos on youtube, Thailand, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, etc. I was wondering did anyone take a trip out there yet? A fine Dominican woman staying the the night for 30 dollars sounding pretty good right now.

A consistent theme, however, in contrast to "letting people from other countries in", has been the willful importation of cheap labor, with slavery being the biggest example, and our wink-wink-nod-nod border policy with Mexico being the more modern example. I agree that we need to enforce a real immigration policy that reflects the will of the people (whether I personally agree or not), but we have to man up when it comes to undocumented immigrants who have been here 5 years or more. We could have.
1. Greatly expanded the Guest Worker program, and.
2. Fined the hell out of anyone employing undocumented workers.
We chose not to do those things, and instead, had these low paid immigrant workers establish their homes here. Joining the local church, getting married, having kids who go to school with the rest of the kids in the community, etc. They are part of the community now, and we can't just uproot people like that when they wouldn't have established their home here in the first place if we had done the two things I mentioned. We have to man up and own our part of this, give those folks a path to live here out of the shadows, and do the two things I mentioned (no wall necessary) to prevent the issue from recurring.

We get the same dynamic that's lead to our immigration issue: Cheap labor = enhanced profits for American businesses and lower prices for American consumers. If you read the article that A2 linked to you'll see demographic trends which, combined with unemployment at 4% (essentially full employment), means there isn't anyone to fill those manufacturing jobs you pine for (and they certainly wouldn't pay enough to support a middle class lifestyle like they used to). As far as being debt free, that's one of the reasons the current tax plan being shoved down America's throat is so bad. It does nothing for wage earners, and increases the national debt by up to $1 to $2 trillion in order to give tax breaks to "profit makers". It won't stimulate economic growth because it doesn't encourage productive investment, meanwhile organic growth is constrained by demographics and pathetic trends in terms of productivity improvement. The only result will be a further widening of this country's already grotesque economic inequality gap which does the opposite of making this country great.

First, the last thing the US needs is a geopolitically stable world: when you're at the hegemonic apex, you WANT little regional wars going on, and you certainly don't want stable coalitions forming in which the US isn't a strategic partner. Get rid of the UN? That's an awful idea: it's literally a building right in the middle of Manhattan where the USA can act as the spider at the center of the web. Spiders don't like losing their webs.
And relative to US economic power, the UN costs nothing; our ROI is IMMENSE there.
And as far as staying out of foreign affairs, no thanks. I have literally flown into foreign nations, went to the US Embassy and Department of Commerce office the next day, and been introduced to attorneys, politicians, CEOs and other power players so I can start making money immediately. I am doing this for a project in *Nepal* right now, of all places. That's totally a USA privilege.
And even in a hot war, there's no downside. The USA is invulnerable to invasion, it controls all the world's oceans, it controls, de facto, nearly all global commerce (something like 95% depend on container ship transit, which the USA can shut down regionally or globally); that's an almost absurdly strong position to be in.
The USA is an empire, and if history teaches anything, it's that when an empire decides to turtle down, that's the end; empires have to be out there in the field, managing.

This thread is becoming too politicized. Recently I've noticed people talking about a chic isn't worth this and that and she can't be charging those rates if she's fat and ugly or if she lives in a ghetto environment. In my opinion, if a chic does her work and doesn't bish or complain or smell like shit, then she can charge whatever she wants. But when I read a review of how a chic charged a guy $250 for 30 minutes with no BJ, then I have to voice my opinion. If a chic, like say, Shelly, puts in the work for years and have 100's of reviews and she's well verified, then I can see a chic like her not doing any cheap specials anymore and charging top dollar.
Shit, she's earned that right after putting in so much years of work. That's like me playing in the Nfl and winning a superbowl ring, then wanting my contract renegotiated for more money, especially if was key to the team winning the Super Bowl. Damn right I want more money and not taking mininum salary anymore. I think a chic like Shelly, regardless of how fat and ugly she is, deserves to raise her rates and refuse to work for peanuts anymore. She's worth it after countless years of slobbing bare knobs and swallowing random loads. A chic llke that knows she can get at least $200 for fat pocket simps, why should she be running $50 specials for an hour anymore.
She should be beneath that at this point in her life. It would be in her best interest to cut ties with the penny pinchers and start rolling with the big ballers. Her demand is greater so she needs to increase her rates to compare with that demand. Now, any old chic on backpage or craigslist or anywhere else increasing their rates for no reason at all, when they have no reviews to back up their work is ridiculous. But if a chic is in a ghetto area like Clarkston or whatever and she wants to charge $200 for 30 minutes and she is GFE and does her work, then I don't see any problems with this. If she doesn't half ass or doesn't have any sexual hangups, like I don't get on top or no BJ nonsense, then I don't see why she can't charge that.
You may have other girls at cheaper price but at that cheaper price you also get bad hygiene, high on drugs, half-assed service, etc. Also, all these chics on backpage and craigslist are all in the same riggidy broke down ass boat.
