Of course, some people in LA are much closer than others. OC parking is better, it's either easy street parking or a highrise where you drive to the very top for guest parking. This is a general thing everyone can run into, even a 5" guy. One girl I was 1/3 of the way in, but on repeats I could go all the way in because she was much more relaxed. One other thing you can do is close your eyes for 1-3 weeks and when you open them, it's a new list of HYA in town. This strat ends up saving you money, which can then be put towards the new HYA.
