Sometimes, although not often, if you "waste the girl's time" by ghosting them or start to set something up but don't follow through, they'll attempt to get their money via other means. They can use your number to check databases to attempt to find your name and address if you don't use a burner phone, so it's good that you didn't. My advice is to never use your permanent phone and to only reach out when you want to meet. Unfortunately, some are going to think you're wasting their time no matter what you do, so always be careful.
