AMPs are usually safer (No Pimps and ROBs) and on the very unlikely-hood that you're at an AMP during a bust, unless they actually catch you in the act with tape recorded conversations, LE will usually just let you walk while they arrest the providers and mamasan.

But the escort rates are dropping like rocks. Those quickie/hh rates are really enticing.

Since I play with a limited budget, I watch these trends closely because I'm always looking for a good deal. I have found the providers on Craigslist to be generally good, but I follow a few rules to ensure my enjoyment and safety. Because I am too, I always look for the more mature provider (>30). This eliminates a lot of flakes and fly-by-nighters. I look for local phone numbers (though the ease of getting pre-paid cells counters this), indicating someone who has a stake in her business. I really believe the core SD AMPs with $60 HH entry fee and $120-180 or more extras are going to have to change their tune or start dropping. There are good looking gals out there charging $150 for an hour. The economy simply won't support those who don't change.

Despite all the teasing, it's extremely unlikely you'll ever get any extras at these places. I've heard a few cases of guys who have been there a dozen times and gave a huge tip (>$80) managed to get a small amount of extras, but that's just crazy. Maybe if you have money and time to waste you can try to squeeze out a rushed HE at these legit AMPs, but it's not worth it for me. I'll go there for cheap legit massages, but I'll get my extras somewhere else. The Chinese AMPs have mastered the art of making you think you'll get something "next time" but you never do.

Btw Mr Bater thanks for the tips about Craigslist. But where is the erotic section for San Diego in the backpage? But yeah north county AMPs seem to have adjusted their prices some in the last year, but the core San Diego AMPs still think this is 2005-2006 or something and have high door fees and tips. You're right you can see a hottie on Craigslist for just $150 for a full hour. You know the economic troubles are for real when working girls are slashing their rates by 50% in just a little over year's time.

Years ago, I remember getting chastised for being too explicit. They argued in favor of being more euphemistic. My rebuttal was that LE knew what all of our euphemisms meant. I am advocating being less specific in regard to our favorite AMP and provider names. I would hate for my favorite local, albeit expensive, joint to get shut down.

I think there are much larger factors in determining when/how an AMP gets busted. Here are just a few:

1.complaints by Nearby businesses.

- This is the biggest factor, IMO. If LE starts getting calls from businesses at the same office building about inappropriate "noise" complaints, then LE may eventually open up an investigation or check permits/licenses. AMPs with fairly thin walls are usually susceptible to this too.

2. High foot traffic

- This usually leads to number one, but if there are a ton of mongers constantly coming and going, then it's more likely to draw the attention of the nearby community.

3. Election Years

- Often times during election years, local politicians want to show that they've actually done something, so one of the easiest things for them to do is bust up AMPs. Lets them claim they've "cleaned up the community from depravity" even though the roads and buildings are crumbling.

4. City Redevelopment

- This happened in Oside. The city wanted to renovate part of Oceanside Blvd so they wiped out all the AMPs along there. Even the legit ones.

Sure once LE decides to bust an AMP some of the info we post here might save them a little time, but they'll figure it out eventually regardless. You can't really do anythng about #3 & #4, but the best way to keep AMPs off the radar is curbing #1 & #2.

As for #1, if you're at an AMP and you know there is a doctor's office or other businesses right round the corner, try not to grunt at the top of your lungs during the moments of bliss. Some mongers like to show off and want the whole building to hear their enjoyment, but this can cause problems down the line.

As for #2, don't crowd and hang around the AMPs. Do your business and leave. This a problem at the popular Escondido AMPs where you got guys hanging around and being loud right in front of the AMPs. Try also to make appointments to help reduce crowding.

I guess the information we share here does contribute a bit to the crowding. Maybe in that sense it might be good to exchange quality provider names by PM. But I think crowding is more of an issue, not that we're tipping off LE to something they didn't already know about.

Went here after a long day of work and couple of drinks, was about 5:00 PM and wasn't expecting too much. Walked in and paid the $45, then was immediately led down a long corridor with several rooms, after passing by a set of sofas for foot massages, I was led into a room which was dimly let and had relaxing music playing in the background. Very clean place inside. Got a room and laid in wait. Got a 29ish looking Asian woman with long dark hair and a nice tight body that knew very little English. The massage was great, she varied techniques frequently and was very very skilled in her craft. Got a little rubbing downstairs on my unit, but nothing to brag about. Overall was a great massage well worth the $45. I haven't been to many massage parlor's, but based on the vibe this place did not seem to be anything more.

More than the information on this place I wanted to inquire about the place immediately next door called 'Legend Club'. You weren't kidding about the language barrier! But, true enough, it was a decent massage, with no extras offered whatsoever.

This place is really weird, just a lot of Japanese businessmen at the bar and a few not-so-hot girls in booth spread out throughout the joint. Was very different from what I had hoped it would be. Avoid this place, just a waste of time.

Inside was a small bar in the center, and booths all along the outside. I did a quick round to see what it was then bailed afterward. There were like 10+ Japanese businessmen, all in expensive looking suits, and a few ugly-decent looking Japanese girls. Not sure if you can negotiate something with the girls or what, wasn't worth it in any case. Might be more talent in the back or in a private area. Weird joint though.
