Chasing my tail, or beating me at my game?
Once in a blue moon, I'll need some freelance help with my outside work. I met a beautiful and seemingly very legit 20 year old University student, who is studying in the same field as mine. There's a subtle, slight spark there, which could very well be my own male nature. I asked her if she'd like to meet for lunch to discuss potential project work and she immediately jumped at the chance.
I'm used to the SA girls being a no-show at the outset. What's interesting is how this one has now done the same thing. Her ghosting from our meetup has me thinking: is she playing this as an arrangement game as well, beating me to the punch by testing my interest and dedication?
Maybe I'm old fashioned, but when I was climbing the ladder, any job opportunity would be met with employment caliber timeliness. Or maybe I’m crazy for attempting business as a cover for pleasure.
Business and Pleasure Don't Mix.
After she had a chance to think about it she probably remembered you were drooling and licking your chops when you extended the invite. You dodged a bullet. Never dip your pen in the company ink well. And a 20 year old intern type too boot. That is real trouble.
I agree that this is a bad idea. Think of what will happen once you get tired of each other. I was very young when I learned the hard way as a straight commission salesman. I was banging a client and when the fun was over, so was the commission. Most expensive piece ever for me.
I say fuck her, fuck her brains out.
