There will always be a Follies
There is high demand for the services Follies offered. You can shut down Flashers, you can shut down Follies, etc. But that's not going to change demand at all.
Oh sure, the Karens of the world might imagine Boise, where "strip clubs" involve women stripping down to two piece bathing suits. But it didn't takeout in Boise, and I'm sure there are underground clubs where, god and Joseph Smith forbid, guys hire talent to perform and it's nearly impossible to crack down on.
Atlanta has probably shed its title of "most strip clubs per capita in a major city" but the down and dirty stuff isn't going away. It's just shifting to a more secure location.
Follies going away party?
While I have zero information other then what is provided on this forum why would they open for 1 day? Do they still have a vaild liquor license? I think it would attract the attention of the local police plus liquor enforcement. Who would want to work 1 day. ? Could they get support staff and entertainment into place for one last party? I don't know just asking. If it does open I think it could be 1 helluva party or a very big shit show. With the second being far more likely. Stay safe.

Follies Farewell Party happened at Diamond
Late, but here's the explanation:
The former main dayshift manager at Follies is now the dayshift manager at Diamond Cub on Northside.
He organized a farewell party primarily for former Follies staff and dancers (but also customers) to be held at Diamond Club. That party took place Saturday, September 26.
He began announcing it a couple weeks prior on his Facebook page. There was also an "after party" strictly for staff and dancers at Club Zoo.
A snip (cropping out his personal identifying info) of his last FB announcement is attached herein.
He later posted casual photos from the event.
That is what I heard from a former dancer now at another club. She said it would be open for one day only and then would be closed for good. She said I could verify it on fakebook and instagram. I looked at fakebook but found nothing on it. I definitely trust the girl. But, I do not know what to think! Anyone else hear this?
Strokers Update. Day Shift
Had not been in a few weeks so wanted to see what was up, particularly with reports of girls with an attitude and potential poor service. Well, there have been some changes. They recently installed some new VIP couches in the back left area of the bar. There's no privacy and the worst part is that they removed almost all of the low top tables in that area which was my favorite spot. I was forced to sit and have my dances at a low top table in front of the DJ booth which I don't care for.
I also got some attitude. It's coming primarily from new girls or from girls that have been in and out in the past. After beginning a dance with a new dancer from Florida I reminded her it was a nude club, and asked could she please remove her thong and place her enormous money bag on the table instead of clutching it in her hand. She stated I was too bossy and walked off in the middle of song 2 without any payment (would have paid her if she had asked). This young lady was Taylor as I recall and she had a twin.
At one point I danced a lady named Monroe. I think she has danced there previously but not for me. Quite odd. Excellent dances, heavy grinding and great visuals. During dance #7 she wheeled around and said "don't do that again". Huh? Yes, you touched or brushed against my pussy and I don't want to be touched there- and you have done it several times. Yes, I probably did brush across some portion of her pussy while I was massaging her inner thigh but it was certainly non threatening and not aggressive in any way. In other words, I've done that a million times without a peep in almost every club I've been to. It's her body so I said let's stop on this song and we did.
The rest of the "regular" dancers that were in attendance seemed fine. Alana gave me her usual good performance and I didn't get a chance to dance Little Bit or Ryder but their stage dances were unchanged as were the table dances I observed. So, I think it's a combination of Covid and new girls creating some attitude. The Covid will likely last longer than some of these dancers. Your not in Florida anymore Dorothy and it will become self evident over time. I will go again, but it certainly it was not a good experience on this trip. There are still pretty and willing girls there but you now have to be more discriminating in who you select which is a pain in the ass. Good Luck.
