I turn off my GPS on my cell as that can be found in various apps that at least your SO could find. E. G. Google maps sends a list of everywhere you have been in your email monthly. (depends on your settings). Etc. Also delete hotel addresses from Waze etc.
For ads:
1. If every single service is listed as available, they aren't and usually means a scam of some sort. The better ones will only have a few options, and the ones without any typically mean things are available but at an upcharge.
2. NEVER PAY A DEPOSIT. If an ad lists a deposit, skip it. If you text and she mentions a deposit, skip her. Post on here about it to warn others.
3. Do not pay for videos or pictures. You can get those free off the internet. It will never be worth it.
4. Get the number for the provider from the ad. Do a google search and see if it shows up under different pictures or in multiple cities at the same time; if so it's a scam. There are those providers who travel, but you would be able to find a visible travel pattern instead of seeing them posting in multiple cities on the same day.
5. Pictures. They try to make themselves look as good as they can so take them with some trepidation. For most you usually have to add some weight and wrinkles to the pictures for a more accurate description.
6. Know your price point and stick to it. Figure out how much time you will need for one pop and what you're willing to pay for it. If she requests more, present your offer. If she declines, move on. Don't beg and don't break your limit.
Responding.
1. Get a burner app or phone app for a burner number. If you have a significant other then get the app. For extra security you can delete the app after using it, then reinstall each time. It's time consuming but worth it.
2. As one guy already said, you are only paying for their time. You can always send a message about wanting to spend x amount of time and asking for a rate. If they mention activities in their ads and rates, you can make a basic reference like "saw your ad, wanted to know if you will do a speaking engagement for $x" If you want FS then think of a good euphemism. I won't list the ones I use, but I've not had an issue with them understanding my meaning. Some will use the initials of acts; if you respond do not indicate that you are exchanging money for those activities. Make sure you indicate that you are paying for their time. For example she says "FS hh is $180, hr $250", your response could be "I want to spend some time with you and I have 30 minutes. Do you have some time tomorrow around x?" Others can chime in on better examples.
3. NEVER SEND A DEPOSIT.
4. DO NOT PROVIDE PERSONAL INFORMATION. Fake name, address, etc. Do not talk about your kids, neighbors, job specifics, etc.
Activity Day.
1. I don't know why some people do this, but do not show up in your work truck / vehicle.
2. Show up earlier than expected and watch the area. If you feel uncomfortable, leave. You may have blue balls and wasted some time, but it's better than getting robbed or worse.
3. Never have more than the donation with you in the room. Leave all valuables at home and not in the car. If you have to bring something valuable besides your phone, put it in the trunk before you reach your destination.
4. Most likely you will be at a motel / hotel. Ask to check the bathroom, any other rooms, and closets for your safety.
5. Be clear about what you want, be prepared to negotiate, and be prepared to walk if needed.
6. Bring your own protection.
7. Remember that she is a person trying to hustle like everyone else. If she is legit at this point and doesn't present a danger, treat her well. Many times service will improve and you might be able to become a repeat customer.
