As for the setting things up in advance, the only advice I can give, is that when you find one that sticks to a date, treat her like gold. I seem to have about a 80% ghost rate setting things up in advance with new providers. When dealing with ones I haven't seen before, I will normally set up a date with a couple at a time, that way I double my chances. Still yet, this only works about 50% of the time. I have yet to have both of them actually stick to the date, so no, I'm not wasting their time.
