I think a lot of it has to do research. I know LV has a lot of GFE escorts that are reasonably priced (300-400). $800 for HJ is neither an agency or a LV thing. It's a straight up ripoff. There's a few review sites that have a good LV section.
With regards to higher prices, I think pornstars are outliers. Most "regular" escorts won't even know what a pornstar is going for unless they actively contact agencies or take the time to look up TER reviews which post rates.
