Long time lurker here, but finally decided to register for an account and join the rest of you guys. It's been a while since I've visited a RI AMP, but decided to give OS a try after looking through the reviews here and saw that evidently Admiral isn't a FS environment (which I think I wish it was, based on some of the reports here).

Drove over at around 1:30 this afternoon and the parking lot was a little full. Two construction trucks were taking of most of the room, and one guy was kind of creepily propped up next to the entry door on the side street had me a little concerned. Didn't help that I already had a case of the jitters as it was having not hit up an AMP in RI since before the raids of last year, and the last time I had been to OS was about 3+ years ago. Anyway, decided to park down the street and head up the stairs since construction guys appeared to be working in the hallway close to the elevator. Walked upstairs and there the construction guys were working on the elevator it appeared with all eyes on me approaching the door where there was clearly an already eager Shuta waiting. I was having a little bit of a flash back to an episode of Law and Order SVU thinking something was going on, but I decided to head in anyway, heh.

A little uneasy from all the stuff that was going on leading into getting in the door, I walked in and mamasan wasn't anywhere to be found, and the place looked a little empty. I wanted to ask for a lineup, but Shuta was short and appeared to be on the younger side. Virtually the same experience with the TS and massage. I actually had to stifle a whimper once or twice during the massage. Same deal with the ending as what Bonefish experienced. I only brought the standard fee / tip with me, so I got the same rushed ending. I would have gladly tipped the extra 20 if I had known ahead of time. Visited 1021 recently and met Young, perhaps Yung, as Mika was on vacation.

She was very pleasant with excellent English so conversation was easy and clear. I had called in advance and chatted a bit, then after my appointment we spoke a while.

I'm not clear if Young is replacing Mika or will just share duties but she did say she was going to be around for a while and sounded like she was going to be the primary manager.

She seemed very customer oriented and asked how long I'd been coming and why and the like, later commenting that a number of clients she's spoken to are long-timers.

We talked a bit about recent history and changes brought about by outside events and personnel changes. I shared my impression that Sophia had been exuberant, playful and welcoming whereas Mika was more reserved. She commented that she had met Sophia once, but that's the only history.

Net / net. She gave a positive vibe for a friendly environment & has much better English skills than Mika. I like Mika okay, but she is harder to converse with.

Staff wise I believe Penny & Candy are on duty. They are nice which is very important to me, but perhaps not OS spinner types.

My thought is Young may represent a sea change in orientation & operation as I would like to see 1021 back to the selection & quality level I've experienced in the past.
