I mean most places its 120-140 tip for covered FS, I don't think it's outrageous to pay an extra 60 bucks for raw, just my opinion, anyplace outside of Vegas you're going to pay a lot more for.

If mongers want to keep the field level maybe people could share the other places that offer bare just an idea.

I agree though about just slapping down 200 dollars and saying good enough, I never ever just put down money, the money stays in my wallet until me and a girl agree on a price.

But definitely the forums are to help out fellow mongers and to spread the word of where to go and what we should be paying at a particular place. I went to several places on my last trip including east garden and nobody had bare on the menu. I must admit I didn't hit every place in town but that is why these forums are so important.

I agree YMMV and repeat clients may get better service.

A lot more risk going thru an agency.
