A couple of things I've learned about Thai Massage.

Stick with $40 for the HE. I've noticed a trend where providers are asking for more. Often leading with $80 and settling for $60. It's been my experience that the providers that are looking to drive up the rates don't actually deliver any better service. In fact, they have been some of the worst.

Watch out pushing for extras beyond HE. These girls look at HE as an extension of the massage- they don't consider themselves prostitutes. They often struggle with the work they do, and their boundaries often are deeply rooted in their own feelings about being a Good Person.

From time to time you will hit the jackpot and get major extras. I've had BJ's from a handful of them and actually even a rare FS encounter that was quite awkward. What you realize after is that these extras are given out based on personal connection- not just a desire to make more money. That means they come along with emotions that you will never have to deal with in a standard AMP type scenario.

Know that the Thai community is small and tight knit. Asking for extras beyond HE can get you branded in these places and it can put unwanted heat on any regular probiders you have used- since the assumption will be that they have complied to your request.

First off. Big props to the Camel. A very wise and generous hobbyist. I too have struggled with finding a place that gives both good HJ and legit massage. I can assure you that they are to be had. The sacrifice I think is in the looks and age of the provider. I have been to many places in and around ktown that give CMT level massage and a very happy ending. Extras can be had as well depending on your ability to get a connection with the provider. As always YMMV. The holy grail is a young provider, who gives truly CMT level massage that also provides the little extras that make the session truly memorable. Unfortunately, when these Unicorns are found. Hobbyists tend to keep them as their ATF's and not share with the general mongering public.

I'm not from Cali, so hopefully I'm posting this in the right area forum. Also, this is from a couple months ago, but I only came across this site recently.

Visited pretty tanning in studio city. Chose this place because it was walking distance from where I was staying. The massage wasn't the best. I'd say below average. HE was offered and accepted. I still don't know how much information to disclose publicly in this forum, so I won't give the exact details in this post, but I will tell you how I found both of them. For both sakura and HT, I saw references in this forum (do a "forum search" in los angeles for either "sakura" or "HT" to find other reviews) and then did a search in backpage adult section for los angeles using the names mentioned. Sakura was pretty obvious and with HT I was pretty sure I found the correct place based on information in the forum but wasn't 100% sure. I went to the location in the HT backpage ad and could tell it was the right kind of place once I walked in. A little extra help on HT: It is not far from LAX with white asian and latin "staffs. ".

I also frequented SLS which is a thai place but I didn't know what SLS stood for and the forum search didn't work for that phrase. I searched for thai in this forum and found more information that all seemed to point to the same place in silverlake on virgil. I again used this information to search backpage and found it.

For forum searches, go to the los angeles level to search all subforums (backpage advertiser reviews, massage parlors, etc) and click the "search forum" above and to the right of the thread title heading.

Hopefully these tips will help you find what you are looking for now but also in future attempts to find places that are mentioned indirectly in this forum.

I have walked out on LE before, the first time was scary but I was able to remain calm. This forum makes me feel more comfortable to see someone and allows me to do my research before arriving to an unknown situation. If the name of a massage parlor is too much for you to post, just go to rubmaps (rub maps in case it censures) and see if its posted there. You should have no problem posting the name and location of the place and services received.

I sometimes contribute to PM reviews in order to get more explicit detail about particular providers or parlors without having to do a lot of lengthy research.

The hints at the names, the "top secret" money code (that can be accessed on the FAQ page) and the overall cloak and dagger to hide stuff from the cops. Everything about the cops using evidence is true. My thought was that most of the members weren't outright in naming names and places, not because of LE, but because of do-gooders that try to save the world.

I have seen witch hunts put together based on info from the internet. I don't know if it's still the case, but at a time, our forum would be a number one hit on google depending on what was searched. My assumption was people would say "White House", "tree", RR" and the likes, so that if some goody two shoes searched Red Rose, USASG wouldn't be the first pop.

I guess I took it for granted that in such a large city with so much going on that witch hunts are not such a big thing here. I can imagine in a smaller town some very determined people wanting to "clean up the town" can make hobbying difficult for both providers and mongers.
