I have done a little investing and investigating lately with some of the girls on clist. I refuse to pay what some are asking, yet I know some are bait and switch, so I spent some time investigating. I haven't been posting anywhere; most of my regulars know how to reach me and my new clients are coming from here and one or two of the other places I'm on.
So, you guys may have to look for your providers that used to post on CL in other places or ask around for their contact info if you don't have it in case they can't keep their ads up or aren't posting on there as of late.

You must have a regular CC with a permenant address (No P. O. Box address). They charge the CC $5 per ad, but, it's not the money. It's the trail of evidence they're after. They also seem to think that this will stop providers (that's a joke). All this will do is push the "smart ones" to different forms of advertisement. They will catch some of the "dumb ones", but, lets face it sooner or later. (anyone who's stupid enough to post specific sexual acts and the dollar amounts on CL) Show that to the judge and guess what? You say"I didn't post THAT" well, YES you did. (no doubt)
I'm not sure what LE can do with just that info? It's probably just another way for them to find out EXACTLY who's posting these ads. My question is, if a guy (or "pimp") is posting ads for several girls on his CC, can they do anything to him? I'm not sure in that case? Hey Aimee,
You're correct (I was wrong)about the pre-paid cell. Those will be accepted for phone numbers, BUT, the pre-paid CC doesn't work. After I saw your post I double checked, and was told this. I misunderstood about the phone. The Credit card MUST be addressed to a permenant residence. No gift or pre-paid cards. The computer will reject it when checking for approval.
I notice that CL ads are starting to increase slightly. I wonder how long it will be before LE boasts about making arrests, again? Wouldn't it be nice if they would be more concerned with the REAL problems out there? Seems like a lot of time and tax dollars wasted to me? Time is rarely served by the provider or client.
