If they get knocked up or if some asswipe assaults them), or if the website is coinfiscated by our Uncle (as with backpage), then you are fucked (no pun intended) even if you had nothing to do with any of these types of problems. For Christ's sake, dudes, its bad enough that some of these hoes want to "verify" with your personal data, which I'll also NEVER give them. Keep in mind that this kind of digital data is PERMANENT. Meaning forever. Think with the BIG head on this one, gents! And send them feedback. If enough people vote with their feet, and tell them why, they won't be able to sell subscriptions, and that would put an end to this invasive and potentially very dangerous policy. I would much rather wade thru all the fakes and scammers than put myself at substantial risk.

SA has probably vetted with lawyers enough to evade Uncle LEO with how they operate things (like banning words, even in DMs, resulting in bans), but they can't evade Mr. Black Hat Hacker in Russia looking for a quick buck.

I agree. We don't need their help with navigating fakes if it actually exposes our own safety in return. We can navigate fakes on our own pretty well and have been for years now, thank you very much. But anything they can do to protect us without exposing us in exchange is more than welcome, and there are plenty of ways to do so. And that's where they should be spending their energies.

Serious question: what is the definition of "pro" everybody is using? Is it a lady for whom sugaring is their full-time source of income? Or is it just a matter of professionalism and experience level?

There's someone I've seen a handful of times, who has a full-time job and outside revenue sources, but has also been on SA for a couple of years and has the experience down to a science. Would why'all consider her a "pro"?
