The Democrats DO and HAVE vigorously fought for American rights and liberties, including those of the new digital world. Go do research about the impending disaster that unfolded in 2012 called the "Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA)" that would have allowed the Feds to shut down ANY website that posted an illegal copyrighted work. Luckily, Obama nixed it before it could be signed into law. Also remember that is was another legendary Democrat President named Bill Clinton who passed the Communications Decency Act of 1996 that explicitly stated that Internet providers and website operators are NOT legally liable for the words and actions of users who post on their sites. Clinton and Gore's incredible and insightful leadership is what allowed the Internet to flourish into the powerhouse it is today.

Stop feeding into this childish narrative that all of DC is a cesspool and nobody there fights for American rights. The Dems have proven time and time again they cherish our Constitutional rights and will defend them to the death, and the Repukes have proven they only fight to preserve totalitarian power in the hands of one lying Communist lap dog like Trump. WAKE UP and SEE THE TRUTH. America is doomed with a scumbag like Commie Donnie in power, and it's only going to get worse from here on out.

The text authorizes trial by military tribunal, or "transfer to the custody or control of the person's country of origin", or transfer to "any other foreign country, or any other foreign entity".

If the president has not signed the bill after 10 days, it becomes law without his signature. However, if Congress adjourns during the 10-day period, the bill does not become law.
