Some of them surveillance low light cameras get some pretty decent images. Still, if used for monitoring, it's for everyones safety but if LE got their hands on it. Would be bad news.

AMP would want to risk providing LE with that kind of evidence,
because the MS/Owner cannot claim they do not know what is going
on in the rooms.

Also, yes the signal from wireless cameras can be intercepted if you know the frequency number.

One of the news stations awhile back did an undercover expose with a hidden camera on Honolulu massage parlors during ratings week. A reporter posing as a customer had a hidden camera and took you step by step of what goes on. You could barely see anything but a gray screen and the dark outline of the provider. The audio was okay, but there were subtitles of what was said.

Nowadays a simple home camera system much like the ones you see at AMPs are actually affordable considering the amount of money needed to invest into running an AMP. Up to date technology only requires a DVR and hard drive and only takes up space as that of a desk top computer. No need to take the time to change tapes or DVD's as it is too time consuming and saves money without having to continually buy new tapes or DVd's. After x amount of hours (depending on how big the hard drive is and how many cameras are being runned.) footage stored will be deleted and makes room for recent footage. For a cheap DVR system I'd say about 1 months worth of continual footage can be stored for a 4 camera system, again even more can be stored with a larger hard drive.

I actually worked in security for a few years and have hands on experience with cctv systems.
