Yes, that's what I thought. I had been saving pics for years as well. They could block the mouse and keyboard actions, but they have left them enabled. My guess is someone reported it. The enforcement may not be very strict, but the rules are there. See the attachment of what they sent me.
Really? I've been doing this for as long as I've been on and off and on again on that site. . . 10 yrs??
Nor do I see anything in the Terms that seems to restrict this in any sort of obvious verbiage, but I could have missed it of course.
And if they wanted to block right-click save, they could.
But I think it's pretty clear someone reported you for who-knows-what. I don't think that they mean "photo collecting" to mean you can't download or save; they mean that to be able to ban someone who's just spamming photo requests.
Chatting went well, but day of meet up she went silent, then 30 minutes later she texted and said let's meet. Then gave address in Lynn. Location was not in a good area. Should have known then. But stuck with it. Then she says let me meet you you your car. Oh no. She does not look like anything she does online. She asked for a hug. She looked spaced out. We parted ways. Nothing was exchanged. This is the sad part of this biz. Makes you take stock in what we have anyway gets worse. As I pull away state police was watching and pulled me over. Asked a shit ton of questions, asked to search my car. Holy shit. I explained in what went down. They actually were pretty cool about it. They have been staking out her place- said to me. She and her partner need help / and they let me be. So stay away / far away.
I don't have seeking and never will but don't you think uploading her picture on here is better so anyone that's trying to meet her can stay away.
There is a HayHay on Seeking. Rutland, VT.
Part II is she texted today and lured me to the infamous Red Roof in Saugus. Nonsense ensued and 30 minutes later I left without meeting her. No idea what her scam is but stay away.

I would think they would have to be able to detect every key stroke, no? But I always look for a simple solution to complex problems: How about just using your phone to take a photograph of your computer screen? The resolution is just fine, and no website could ever detect it and ban you for it, yes?!

Not sure about mobile though.

I'm talking about simply taking a picture of your computer screen with a phone, like you would take any picture. I just took the picture of your post with my phone as an example, and uploaded it.

I use Debut. FYI I have been saving images for years off Seeking by downloading them and screen capping them and have never had an issue.
I can still see her profile and send a message. . . She's blocked you.
That's fine, I'm pretty sure that account is not real.

Correct, they can't be sure that the key-combination you're using is definitely for a screenshot. Each app has its own and you can even make a custom key-combination. On the other hand, right-click and save-image-as is just standard browser behavior for saving an image and they can detect / prevent that.
Be careful. I got banned once for doing that. Was very surprised but it is what it is.
I got curious about this and fired up fiddler. I didn't see any traffic associated with the action of context clicking and saving an image, at least in chrome on desktop.
