I'm assuming Kismet is an AMP?*** You assumed the damage was the usual, and you were a semi (though not frequent) regular? Definitely wise to move on.
Thanks for the heads up.
***I'm a dumbarse: should have consulted CL first. (Of course it is an AMP)
Recently visited. Have been going there for years. Saw a provider I've seen multiple times in the past. Had the usual nice session. Confronted with an argument that I did not tip enough (I tipped exactly what I've always tipped and has always been fine) afterwards.
Last visit for me there. I have no time for upsellers.
Tip
Shanghai, should I read anything into the fact that your tip seems very high for an HR? More on the table perhaps?
Hi Moto,
Good pick-up.
Enjoy Shanghai

Upselling
Upselling is what got the place on Rt. 1 in Danvers busted.

http://www.salemnews.com/local/x1243758849/Massage-business-under-scrutiny-for-years/print
I would not completely agree with you on the reason for the bust. One common practice among AMPs is that competing ones will make a "complaint" against the other one by calling or have a couple of shills call for them. I know this because I've become a little extra friendly with a couple MT's from different AMPs. Also, they are well aware of this and other sites that review them. Alas, another way for them to be targeted.
This one that was busted is also attached to Liberty bodyworks in Danvers and Merrimac Bodyworks in Newberyport. Both still open.

The last time I was there in November I was surprised to see a man in the lobby doing "duct work" in the suspended ceiling on my way out. Something didn't smell right and I assumed he was leo. Its because of this I hadn't returned in two months. It wasn't the best option in terms of service and looks, but it was local (for me at least) and reliable. I think the rumors of a "North Shore Task Force" might be true now that the one in haverhill and this one have been shut down over the last month. I'll be out of the game for a while until things die down and maybe some new, more discreet option open up.
Stay Safe and happy hunting.

*I'm a dumbarse: should have consulted CL first. (Of course it is an AMP)
I was more than a semi-regular. Been going there for 3+ years and have seen this particular provider either as the girl manning the desk or as my MP for a session multiple times. Same service rendered as always and same previously acceptable tip given as always. I'd seen a post or two in the distant past that they did this but it had never happened to me there before. Next.

Jessica at Diva
Hi Everyone,
Long time lurker here. I've RTFF over and over. I appreciate the good reporting of all of you.
I am an occasional hobbyist, mostly AMPs. A few weeks ago, after reading some good reports about Jessica, I decided to go to Diva. I called ahead and asked for her by name. Easy buzz in. Elevator up and walk past the other parlor in that building. Jessica was as advertised. Small, tight body, cute, tough to tell age but certainly younger than the average CT therapist. She said she recognized me from an appointment a few weeks prior. I hadn't been, but I ran with it figuring that only good can come of her thinking I'm a repeat customer. I got a half hour for the going rate.
When face down the massage was good. Lots of light teasing on the back, which I like. She worked her way up each of my legs in turn, all the way to the top. Very nice. She removed the towel on the flip and almost immediately got to the job at hand. She used lots of lotion and both hands, rubbing all over. I finished quickly (I'm young and I get pretty excited. What can you do?). Warm towel clean up and back to a nice massage. I got about 25 min.
I did a little OTC roaming when I was face down, and more after the flip, but only bottom. I would have tried for the top but she doesn't have much going on up there, and I'm an ass man anyway.
I tipped the usual CT rate, and left happy. I would repeat with Jessica.
I've seen a few other providers, and will follow up with reports about them, but if anyone has any questions about CT feel free to PM me.
Good luck.

Bad customer service
Too bad she lost a regular customer. And for what? Another $10. Pretty stupid of them especially in this economy. There are plenty of other AMPs around.

All have been busted.

Diva. Change in policy?
She removed the towel on the flip and almost immediately got to the job at hand.
I visited Diva during the "grand opening" a couple of years back and no HE was available. I asked about it and the lady told me the boss did not want that in this place. Eventually she relented, but I decided not to go back to a place with this policy, even though it was a good massage.
It sounds like from RS's experience that perhaps the policy has changed. I'm not real surprised.
I hear compliants all the time about you not getting your hour massage. Well stop coming 10 or 15 or more minutes. For your appointment please.
I was at my fav AMP in Bedford this week. She always gives the full hour. She's also is the only one there as her usual clients know. The last 15 or so minutes is the highlight of the hour. Then the door bell starts ringing. A real Mood breaker. A couple of weeks ago someone tried to get in 20 minutes early. She said to me let him come later. But he rang the bell about 10 to 15 times. I told her forget it. Not her fault.
Please have a little respect for you fellow hobbyist and come in on time.
Thank You for letting me Rant!
I have to agree with that. I had that happen at a place in Marlboro. The provider was the only one there. Just as things got interesting on the flip someone shows up 20 minutes early. Talk about a mood killer. When a provider means a certain time, it is that time. Wait in the parking lot until a couple of minutes before your appointment, get out, lock your car and walk to the door and arrive their right at the appointed time or at least when you see another monger walk out. Lexington Bodyworks
Had a chance to swing by here the other day. Took a chance on not having an appointment and it paid off well.
Place is really awkward to find, which is probably for the best. Parking is privateish, but building is shared with other businesses, so that could prove awkward. I didn't have any issues, though, myself.
Met at the door by Yumi, a very attractive early-30's spinner who led me to a room to wait while she got ready. After a good 15 minutes of her dealing with the phone, doorbell, having to use the bathroom, needing to get different oil, etc etc, she finally settled down to a decent massage. Through the whole ordeal of getting setup she was very apologetic and playful. Seemed sincere about it too, so I let it slide (plus I didn't have an appointment, so I couldn't really complain too much).
On the flip, she asked me to show her what needed massaging next. I obliged. She got very into it. Light kissing on the cheek and neck. Showed me some nice B's to play with, and went nice, slow and sensual on the finish.
60/60 was the damage, no pressure on the tip from her. Definitely would repeat if I was in the neighborhood again.

Unremarkable except that they have a shower, which I find to be a huge plus. I hate walking out all greasy and smelling of baby oil. It's uncivilized.

Marlboro near Sudbury
Visited a new place on Boston Post Road in Marlboro, because why should visits to Home Depot be all work? It looked pretty good, one decent looking provider in her late 30s on duty in a very new clean place in an office building.
Rate was std. $40/60 (actually supposedly $45 hh but they waive $5 for first timers). Got in the room, got to use the shower (awesome!) and settled in.
Technique was pretty good. Definitely knew what she was doing. WHen I get asked "hard or soft" I feel like that's strictly amateur hour. Places like that, if you say hard, you get hammered and soft is a feather light touch with no muscles massaged. This girl had her own agenda and knew what she was doing. It was firm but not painful.
Not much teasing but very good massage on legs and ass. It felt really good toward the end and actually got into some semi-reach under and I was raised well up off the table. I was picturing that she would do a really nice transition into the final act, so imagine my disappointment when she announced "time up". The usual "not here, not allowed", etc. I tipped $10 and got out.
They do have a rotation, she said there would be 2-3 girls on duty typically, and they rotate frequently. Good location and rates for me, and like I said, the massage wasn't a total waste of time. Just sucked to not get the full treatment.
