It was my first post on this forum though, so I guess I have to get used to the general tone around here. As another poster noted in a recent post, it is really a pain to no longer have a well-known place like TER where people could find quality providers and write meaningful reports.

I found nearly 50% of the reports there not trustworthy. Often the hobbyists would either try not to offend a girl with an honest review because she knew who he was and he knew that a wrong type of review was sure to affect his service with her, or there would be a straight quid pro quo. She'll ask you to write a nice TER review for her and you get either better service or a nice discount or both. I forgot how many times a girl would offer me to be reasonable on price and liberal with her time if I were to do that for her.
Many hobbyists would also be afraid to write negative reviews because other providers knew who they were and would blacklist them. It's much harder for providers to do such a thing based on what they would read here. Many providers don't even know that USASG' exists and please let's try to keep it that way as much as humanly possible!

I myself quickly learned not to trust the TER crowd and learned it the hard way. 2-3 times that I shared my UTRs on TER, they all came back to haunt me. One, particularly grateful hobbyist that still sees the lady I introduced him to, even set me up (or didn't warn me) about very unpleasant circumstances in regards to one of the providers that I was considering seeing.
There was a certain sense of entitlement that TER hobbyists had that I never noticed on USASG, that is until TER shut down its USA part and many TER hobbyists migrated here.

Since that happened I'd tell you this though: I'm much more careful with sharing now than before, that's for sure. Doesn't mean that I don't share, you can check my posts, I still do. I'm much more careful about sharing in private though, that's for sure.

As for BTT girls, I'm sure just like with the girls that work for other services, BTT girls vary. Also they are not robots. YMMV with any one of them. I much prefer USASG to TER because here I'm much more apt to get an honest opinion about a provider then not. On TER every review made me wonder, every profile was suspect, especially those with pages upon pages of great reviews. Fifty (50%) is a bit exaggerated but you did have to pay attention to the guy doing the reviewing, as well as the review. After awhile you knew who the fake or friendly reviewers were at TER.

I followed one reviewer whose reviews were reliable and he had similar tastes as me, which proved to be a great source of intel.

I miss the information source that was TER. This board has decent info, just not enough on a regular basis. Too few guys actually post reviews.

Google is your friend. Use USASG and every other resource out there. Compare ads, phone #'s used, locations ads are posted in, how long they've been around. Actually join a review site. If your too cheap to do that then you shouldn't be doing this. I've been mongering for 25+ years. Have never had any issue with LE and have only been ripped off about 2 times both due to me being dumb. Research. Period. I might see an ad and the girl catches my eye (I do have a particular type or two that intrigues me) I then start to Google her name and #. Then I wait and keep searching and looking. I could wait months before I pull the trigger but when I do I can rest fairly comfortably that she is real, won't rip me off, and I can relax. For me, if I am all anxious and watching over my shoulder I can't really enjoy that. This hobby is about fun for me. The thrill of the chase. Seeing and touching someone new and beautiful and pushing boundaries. You win some, you lose some. In the end, just enjoy yourself and be very careful. It's a dangerous world out there.

I agree with you both. I also like to find the lower cost gems that are out there but if you want a truly phenomenal "date" you can't go wrong with some of the well known higher ends women. They will rock your world but it will run you $400+. Worth every penny but who wants to spend that kind of cash on the regular? I don't. I tend to research the hell out of the girl I think I want to see. Sometimes you do find the diamonds in the rough at the lower end of scale but they are few and far between and tend to either bump their prices way up quickly or fall off the planet due to their lifestyle. Going way back, JAG was great and Big Doggie before it got eclipsed by TER were good sources.

As for this board, there are too many guy who run their post up with "yeah, me too, I've seen her" and consider that a review.

Myself, I put out general reviews and recommend them or not, I offer up details to posters via PM who actually post real content. I am very selective on who I share details with. I have done leaps of faith with some people and shared more only not to get anything back on. So those days are over.

It would be great to have an additional tag for members.

Yes, you couldn't always rely on individual reviews, bur once you used it enough, you got to know whose reviews to trust and whose to ignore. I used their private message system to network with other hobbyists that had the same interests and found that my bad encounters were mostly eliminated. I travel to Canada often and still exchange info with other hobbyists in Canada and I post reviews for my Canadian encounters.

I use USASG the same way that I used TER. I try to network with other Mongers and get additional info before I book an encounter. When a contributing Monger sends me a private message, I always respond with as much detail as I know and I'm grateful to all the Mongers who have done the same for me.

USASG also has a ton more BBFS reports than TER. There was a change when TER let reviews get posted referencing it but it was still considered taboo.

Makes no sense because if you want it, or you just want to stay safe, you should know either way.

TER was great. With a VPN you can still get on no problem and the local reviews are gone but the discussion boards are still up. It isn't like you can mention anyone as a provider because everyone's been de-listed. Their ratings are still there with a name only. Somebody pointed out this USASG site to me but it's been a rollercoaster ride of finding out that the chick I saw a lot of turned out to be a streetwalker, too. It's probably a question for the Massholes but for the life of me, I can't believe someone didn't turn this chick in and try to keep everyone safe.
