1) The removal of the Seeking app from the app store. Most hot girls have iPhones and young people don't log onto PCs to use dating apps or much of anything beyond writing in Word or using Excel. If they are motivated they can log on on the web, but dating apps are called dating *apps* for a reason. Because people can't download the app "for fun" some girls don't do it. And because they don't do it there's a disamenity effect. Others don't do it. And it because less social and common.

2) The economy is strong for service jobs. Wages are up and employment rate is down. It's totally possible for a college student to make $20 an hour at Starbucks part time if you include tips. This isn't going to buy you a house, but most of the SBs I saw in the heyday weren't looking for a full time income. They just wanted an extra $1000 a month that they could spend on luxuries on top of their normal college student spending. There's fewer broke girls out there than there were in 2017. If you're a hot, personable 20 year old you've got options to make money. Have you seen how plain the hostesses at nice restaurants are in Chicago these days compared to previous years?

3) Weirdos on Seeking. There was a period on Seeking eight years ago where it was like Uber at the beginning. It seemed remarkably cheap and remarkably high quality. If something can't continue forever, then it won't. If you're a hot sorority girl, why wouldn't you want to get a few hundred bucks, go to a nice restaurant and blow a good looking periodontist on his boat? As more people flocked onto seeking, the "how much for anal?" guys definitely chased some of the normies off site. And the lack of normies reduced the number of periodontists with boats. Decay spiral.

4) Other stuff. Eight years doesn't seem that long to me, but generationally or on social media, it's a long time. It's tough to keep anything hip with just 20 year olds. Once 28 year olds are still on their old app, the 20 year olds have to be doing something else. It's like the Craigslist Backpage Seeking ? Treadmill. I'm not sure what's next.

I agree that AC's verification requirements are nothing terrible. The problem is that it's a crapshoot if they'll let you past screening or not. And if you don't pass screening, you're blocked forever. I tried screening with completely legit info and was denied. No information as to why. Add to it the fakes, and soon I will stop even browsing it and eventually it goes away. Add to it the fact that this hobby is being attacked left right and center, the choices to shop or sell are becoming limited which in turn will drive people away. To what? Who knows. Maybe the next evolution. What's sad is that girls today especially younger generations are the most liberal open in history toward sex and view it casually.
