The time frame they show up means something, but most admins wouldn't just accept that as absolute proof. There's plenty of other options, like user-agent or referrer strings etc. Heck, even browser fingerprinting these days if you use the same browser with the same extensions, blah blah.

I do believe I saw something from A2 on another forum telling the users they ran someone off before he could build up some data on them. So it's more than IP address.

The theme is the same, the manic pacing the same, the tone is the same, they are obviously written by the same person AND when they are all posted from the same IP in the space of two hours AND the person has a history of catfishing AND when they did the same thing with the reported posts (multiple users reporting or referencing the same posts from the same IP within short periods of time) THEN I am perfectly happy saying in my opinion they are coming from the same person. People can hide all kinds of stuff but what's really hard to change is what they are saying and how they say. It's the content that leads me to serial antagonists and you can't mask that because if the massage changes and I don't need to be involved then it's just one less thing and I could give a shit who they "used to be" in the forum.

Like IP addresses browser fingerprinting is less reliable in the negative than the positive. I have 5 different browsers on my laptop and three on my phone (testing) so if the browser fingerprint doesn't match that doesn't mean it's not the same person but when it does, then it does.

This is in response to posts in another thread about whether providers are on drugs. I have not seen the two particular providers referenced in recent posts in the USA thread, so I can't speak to that. I don't think 100% of providers in general are using hard drugs. But I think most are. With streetwalkers, the percentage is probably 99%. I don't think the number is as high with escorts, but I think it's a high percentage.

In the 7 years I've been in the hobby this time around, I've seen maybe a couple who were just genuine freaks. Once in a great while, I suspect fast cash is the main motivation, for reasons other than drugs. Providers fitting that description don't normally stay around long.

In other cases, and probably in more cases than I suspect, the main motivation is a boyfriend. The fact is, chicks dig bad boys, and the list of what chicks will tolerate from them and do for their benefit is almost endless. If you pair a troubled chick with a bad boy who has a lot of charisma or is just a serious badass, it's not a stretch to think that a subset of these chicks can be persuaded to drop their panties for strange men at the Red Roof Inn while he sponges off her earnings to pay his latest court fines and chases other women on the side.

But in the end, most escorts are in it mainly due to drugs. My guesstimate is 85%.
