RondaColdSon is the Dr. Faucci of this forum right now but props to keeping up with good / accurate info. Good times in that place and glad I was able to end it with one of my favs on a good note. I went to Oasis Thursday night just to get a feel of what's to come and from what it seems there is some huge potential but I agree with what most have written: HIT OR MISS and VIP costs are $$ Covid is a MF but then again miracles do happen.
I hope RondaColdSon's information is as unreliable as Dr. Faucci's. Follie's is a special place that the world and mankind need.

RondaColdSon appears to be on it and rarely do I use Twitter but I peeped it and the news about them closing is everywhere. I'm with you though. There's no other place like it. Just have to let it play out. I'm reading a few of the girls got sick from the virus so even if they were to open back up we need a little more time for Covid to cease. 2020 has been a nightmare.

Yes
Well if Follies is closed for good, what's the 'next best thing' in the realm of mileage at a club? Oasis? Fannies? Tattletales?
Anyone a real pro in the SC game on these boards. ?
Yes, yes I am strip clubs are my thing and have been since 95 and have studied Sc strip clubs in Greenville Spartanburg Seneca for 20 years.
For quality of dancers, level of customer service Nikkitas in welford sc between greenville and Spartanburg 85 exit 66 can not be beat. Open 7-2 Wednesday Thursday. Later on weekends free cover prior to 8 pm. Byob (no hard liquor) couch dances 2 for 40. VIP. 30 min anywhere between 200-300 (first 100 goes to club) no kitchen club is always very clean.
Club lust on transit drive is to high end if you ain't throwing stacks 24/7 you will be over looked. VIP rooms are size of phone booth.
Godivas on augusta road is the wild west. It's drug market with a few naked chicks walking around.
Godivas on st mark in Taylors is 90% miss. Currently no couch or VIP room.
Trophy club is ok. Couch dances are two large couches in wide open. Zero privacy.
Club elite. Byob. Thursday-Saturday. Open late Friday Saturday. Security check at door is tsa x 10.
All dancers are required to be 30 plus with at least 1 child.
Couch dances only. Well monitored. No VIP.

Follies likely gone
Follies is officially done. Can't give out too much details for privacy reasons but they aren't opening back at all. Believe me or don't, but just remember I warned you about July 1st.
I saw a thread about this on Instagram yesterday. About 2/3 of the Follies ladies that posted said what Mr. RondaColdSon said. The rest held out hope.
ON ANOTHER NOTE: A couple of the IG posts seemed to suggest some mild animosity (basically just ribbing) between Follies ladies who disapproved of "extras" and those who didn't.
YET ANOTHER NOTE: If Atlanta-area strip clubs ever recover from Covid-19 impacts, there likely will be a new "extras" leader among the clubs. Over the years, multiple clubs all around the city have had runs when they were known as "the place to go for extras. " Clubs' reputations seem to change every few years.

Good point
Same with massage joints. Strip clubs though are much more popular so I imagine there will be drastic changes to if. My hope is things kind of go back for them by start of spring.

They have a deep pockets and a pretty good legal team, so maybe there is still hope in the future.
Are you predicting a article about it today in the AJC?
I doubt it, but if it is it could be from someone representing Follies. Not going to say more than that.

From my handful of visits there, Follies is a cash cow that no sane owner would ever think of shutting down regardless of virus pandemics or not. Who doesn't like piles of money going into their pockets?
I also don't believe the malarkey about girls having issues with extras. The few girls who don't do extras at Follies know they are missing out on serious profits so that makes them bitter. Most ladies love making that mean green and will gladly perform extras in the naughty rooms.

Follies
A little more info on follies. They seem to have lost their appeal to the city of Chamblee on July 1st. They have until the 15th to negotiate with the city. The city wants Follies to either not serve alcohol and nude dancers or serve alcohol but no nudity or touching. Kind of a catch 22 to close them down for good. They were scheduled to open on the first but it was extended until the 31st.
Hopefully they make some agreement with the city or find a new location. If they do move it probably won't be anywhere near the North side of the metro area as it's not strip club / sex work friendly. Probably be the southside.

Between the caliber and diversity of girls, the ease of expectations, meaning there was no hustle, when you went to VIP, you knew what was going down, plus you add in the cost was relatively cheaper than most other places. I don't believe there is going to ever be true replacement for Follies.
I'm not saying RondaColdSon is wrong, but don't believe everything you are hearing on Twitter and IG. People are posting that two girls at Follies are infected with Corona, they have been closed for close two four months. How is that relevant?
Does anyone have links to some of the Follies dancers, IG and twitter pages?

Magic City
What is Magic City club like and how does it compare to Follie's in terms of variety, looks, and extras?
How does day shift at Magic City compare to night shift?

Not too many on this board mention Club Wax. I love that place. I haven't been in some time, but it was very comparable to Follies in most ways. It is in the hood, but I'm a middle age white guy and never had an issue. Its right across the street from a well known swingers club.

Magic City
What is Magic City club like and how does it compare to Follie's in terms of variety, looks, and extras?
How does day shift at Magic City compare to night shift?
Magic City is way overrated a lot of old heads there and the young ones mostly have fake everything but they do have skills as far as dancing on the poles I give them that. You can't really have sex with the girls like you can in Follies I think Follies is a better club overall it's more geared toward the everyday working man as Magic City is geared more toward pro ball players and celebrities but if your money long then you will have a blast at Magic City for sure.
But do to Coronavirus pandemic the Strip Club scene will never be like it was.
