Yesterday afternoon around 12:30 I was driving eastbound towards the end of the track when all of a sudden a group of four young pretty hot LSW / BSW appeared out of nowhere as if dropped in by the SW gods. This was between Indian Hill and about Clark. They were walking westbound. They were all very bold in waving at cars, blowing kisses and giving the look. Not used to seeing that aggressive behavior during the day and out in the wide open. Didn't see any get picked up and couldn't stay. Guessing they were asking exorbitant prices. It was quite a show anyway and was causing all kinds of traffic and stunt driving in the Asian market parking lot. Good times.

It's good to hear there is some good action in Pomona. Now if only the quality and action would pick up in SD.

Ran the track yesterday from 7-8 pm the roads were packed and there was a good hand full of SW. Mostly thin tall BSW. There was 1 LSW that seemed to be in a very good mood. Took a lunchtime run on Holt on 12/20. Saw absolutely nothing for a while until I spotted a pink-ish dress across the street. There are many benefits to legalizing prostitution, which are similar to the benefits of legalizing drugs such as marijuana for recreational purposes.

The main benefit, in my opinion, is that revenue generated from prostitution can be used by the state to fund programs to fight exploitation of individuals. They could use the revenue to develop programs to fight the exploitation of children, human trafficking. The money could also be used to help individuals, be they independent or pimped, to get out of the life if they no longer wish to be part of it.

There are many other benefits, but it is simply a waste of resources to categorize all prostitution as exploitative when resources should be dedicated to eliminating the types of prostitution that quite simply lead to individuals leading terrible lives.

There is definitely an argument to be made for all types of prostitution being exploitative, but the same can be said for most forms of employment. People trade their time, their bodies, and their health, in order to put food on the table, so why should sex for money be treated as being that much worse. If anything, legalized sex work would make the lives of those who go into sex work a lot safer, both in terms of them being healthier both in body and mind by being afforded the same protections and support as other members of society.

Alas, I hope that states such as California, and other "liberal" states, decide to make it legal to see how it will affect the lives of those involved in sex work.

This morning I was passing through in my POS Neon and I saw a BSW with red hair standing on the corner. Down Gibbs about 1. 5 blocks was a white cruiser off to the side. I don't know, but I suspect that there was an unmarked vehicle watching the girl and ready to call the cruiser when she got picked up. Passing by, I didn't see if that actually happened or not.

Coming back later in the day, there were 2 SUV cruisers hanging around that same area. I only passed by, so I didn't stick around to see what they were up to, but Pomona PD still is keeping Holt cleared away of girls for the most part. Say what you will, but they have been pretty effective and I can only say that they have made it so that I only look when passing through; its not worth the risk to do more than window shop the area while passing through.

It will be interesting to see what the outcome of these loitering cases. My guess is that these are weak cases. & vice went overboard. LE cannot give arrest you on a loitering charge for merely pulling over for a SW. It sounds as though vice out trying to make themselves look good. Part of the problem is that the loitering law is a catchall law that gives LE interpret almost anything they want to be loitering. One good way to protect yourself is to simply offer a SW a ride when you pull over for her. There is case law that allows you to do so. One good way fight a loitering or prostitution charge is hire a aggressive attorney and ask for a trial at when you plead guilty. There is a very good chance the city attorney will drop the case especially if this your first offense. One thing to remember is that city attorney's do not to waste the taxpayers money on a minor prostitution case. A prosecutor in the bay area actually talked about what a weak law loitering law is. I am hoping that the guys that were busted fight this.
