I also had a buddy that had to get a lawyer because one chick he met tried to blackmail him. Lastly, after watching an episode of Law and Order the other night about these types of dating sites I won't be going back to Seeking any time soon. I know it's TV and sensationalized but they can't make these things up. Realistically it's all a crap shoot but I'll take my chances in other ways and not on the dating sites.

Could someone kindly share her profile URL so that the rest of us are aware and can avoid interacting with someone who is willing to jeopardize our security and violate our privacy? Additionally, if anyone wishes to put an end to the text messages, please reach out to me via email—I have prior experience handling situations like this. With so much competition in the field, it is likely that she has just forfeited a significant portion of her income.

He needs to screen better, engage security protocols that include but not limited to text apps and secondary email addresses for play dates. Tell us how he got blackmailed and how a lawyer helped him out of his mess? And if you know, tell us the scammer so we can avoid. Maybe share this site with him so he can learn how to stay safe.

Guys get in trouble when they drop there guard. You have to maintain privacy regardless of how long you know them. I had an SB for over two years and she never knew my real name, the city I lived in, where I worked, my real cell number. Nothing. If you can't take simple precautions then you may want to avoid this hobby because eventually you will get burned.
