Walked into Bamboo at the end of last week after hearing it was open again. I had texted their number earlier that morning, but there was no response. I read your post so I decided to stop in today. I got the middle aged lady I believe you described. I had myself covered with the towel they provided, she came in and took it off. Massage was good. Decided to stop in for the first time in months recently. There are 4 ladies currently working there I believe (Coco, Amy, Lucy, Mary). Not long ago, I visited somewhere in the Midwest (not even the coasts) where there were little negotiations and full offerings at a better thrifty ratio. I'm not saying this hurts everyone in the area, but it's likely not worth for most.
