I for one appreciate the seniment
Well, boys, it's been fun but ol' Joe is hanging up his hat. After seeing what Uncle did down south the stakes are sky high. Either they upped it or I didn't calculate it correctly. Always seemed like a bust was just a hassle and shutting the place down. Never did I imagine they'd take a handy and drum into human trafficking. Plastering names and faces across the every news outlet.
Honestly, can't help but be aggravated at the hypocrisy though. Soccer moms clutching their pearls at the news of SEX SLAVERY. Darling, what do you think the working and living conditions are for the people who made your cell phone, mined your jewels and made your clothes? Probably much worse than any rub-and-tub girl ever had.
Consider this in your future voting considerations. This sort of tough-on-crime, moral victory really appears to the right side of the spectrum. One democratic presidential hopeful has already come out in support of legalizing sex work. It will be an uphill battle here in the deep south, but they may have inadvertently let the cat out of the bag. Crime begets more crime. Sex work exists because there is a demand for it, no law will change that. Since it's already on the wrong side of the law, the step to greater. True crime. Is short. Legalize sex work and human trafficking drops, rape drops, etc. The best we can hope for is this spark lights the fire that burns the whole thing down.
For those of you that continue in the hobby, learn from the recent events. No doubt it has caught Uncle's attention across the Country. Be safe out there. So long and thanks for all the fish.
I believe there are two problems with this whole thing.
One, yes the Dudley Do Right movement that's made up of some of the most unrealistic thinking people you'll ever meet has reached too far. There will be back lash. I don't mean revenge. But believe powerful and influential people that have more of a Libertarian approach to politics will start to get involved. It'll have to start at a local level but that's where it will have the biggest impact. These same people are succeeding at getting pot (showing my age) legalized and I have no doubt they help this industry. And yes, there is a demand.
But I think some of the more flamboyant Asian business people should wake up and smell the coffee. Showing up at their shops every day in your Mercedes and BMWs doesn't garnish them any sympathy, especially when angry wives take notice or some drunk bastard wakes up the next day to find out or realize he paid 300 $ for a HE but all the details are a blur except he remembers the Asian chick pumping him for more "teeps" cause they figured they could work him. Of course drunk Cooter Brown doesn't realize how much he hurts the situation when he decides to call in his anonymous tip.
And the band plays on!
Mac out.
I don't know man, somethings a little fishy
According go this article, detectives read reviews on sites to determine the locations to target. I think we all know uncle reads these reviews just as others but a combination of Intel intended to help the next brother in addition to confessions of scared brothers who were pulled over AFTER leaving has led us to where we are today. You guys be careful out there. Here'san excerpt from the article:
Jupiter police said they initially searched the internet for clues to the spa's activities, then conducted a 24-hour video surveillance in November outside of the storefront location in a strip mall, noticing only male patrons even though the spa advertised for women customers as well.
The next step, according to the affidavit, was a Florida Department of Health inspection that provided information indicating women working at the spa also lived there. The inspector noticed beds, dressers with personal items and a refrigerator on the premises.
Before they decided on the bomb scare ruse, the police affidavit said in January officers stopped the vehicles of customers shortly after they left the spa to inquire what went on inside and they admitted participating in sexual activity. Police used that information to obtain a search warrant needed to plant the video equipment.

Hell, even at that moment if they showed me a video of me I'd still deny it or that's probably where I'd lawyer up. As for the bomb threat ploy, that's believable I suppose but I just can't imagine how oblivious the spa owner and workers must be cause hiding cameras isn't easy. But whatever.
Clearly this went down and it's a big deal. I've commented before on how stupid I thought it was that LEO revealed their methods and I'm beginning to think some of the information may even be misinformation.
Just my 2 cents.
Mac out.
