Like you I thought it was too much for too little all things considered. At least she's consistent and hasn't changed her numbers in all that time 😂.

Anyway, things didn't work out simply because they wanted their air fare to be paid in advance (as assurance). Trust me, I worked hard and offered all kind of alternatives but they didn't accept them. Total plane ticket is about $750 (3 girls) and what about if something goes wrong? It also goes against my rule number one: Never, ever send money or anything in advance. I've been ghosted intentionally or unintentionally in the past even by regulars. I've learned my lesson. It creates too much anger and frustration. I only met one of the girls and she was great and stuff, but still, it has to be according to my rules. Furthermore, I'm not going to be asking fellow hobbyists for money in advance for their plane tickets either. And what about if somebody doesn't show up? I don't know you and you don't know me. Just too many variables. But for sure, I'm going to see the girl I met when she stops by.

That's way too much money to be shelling out in advance, especially for someone you haven't known a long time and especially when you'd be on the hook to a bunch of other guys if it falls apart. Any one of these women can turn into a scammer overnight in a similar situation, that $750 in hand would be a pretty big temptation for her to say fuck it and stay home.
