Am I the only one frustrated with all the BS on CL now? I swear I open up CL to find infinite adds for FLINGME, BUXOM. NET, SEELOCALS. COM, etc. Then after getting past all those adds I have to deal with every other add being flagged for who knows what reason. Why don't the titles just get deleted when the add is flagged? MARLOWE, oh very senior guy on this board... NO FLAME IS INTEDED, but if I ever posted and came off a little "jerkish" I would expect to be called on it. Did your responses to my post on Honey really add anything to the thread? Did it really help the board members who I was trying to warn about a provider who does not deliver as promissed?
For the benefit of those that hold you in high regard I will add.
My little quick bit of information was intended to save others who may have been intersted in her from suffering the same lousy service that I suffered through. I advised the board of a TER review in the event that any of them cared to check.
Though I am not as senior as you Marlowe, I am a senior member none the less and with that comes some credability. I am not a pimp or any of the other things that SO CAL ASIAN mentioned. My handle is known and my reviews on TER and elsewhere are usually held in pretty decent regard for being true to both the letter and spirit of the the rating system guidelines.
I have about 40 reviews posted on TER. TER has its problems and I have heard the stories about some nasty stuff there. I am always bringing BS reviews to the administrators attention and calling their attention to reviews that look self writtten. However, with all its issues I still find it a good resource. I am not the only one here that does. Some highly regarded guys from here post reviews on TER as well. I can also say that some reviews posted her have made me question the standards of the reviewers. IE the reviewers are TOO EASY.

Your report almost looks like a link to the other board and you do that a lot. IMHO if you are going to post here, give us the info. I always use the McDonald analogy. It's like walking into McDonalds and say hey, they have hamburgers at Burger King too go check them out.

I guess Marlowe and Socalasian think the world is perfect. Every aspect of life has it's good sides and bad sides. TER is no different. I know most of the gents on this board are intelligent, savvy hobbyist that use TER as a reference and can be a great tool. I keep trying to bang the point home that one needs to do research before seeing a provider and TER is a big part of that. It's pretty simply.....if I look at a provider that has been reviewed on TER then I check out how many reviews she has, if there is only one, I probably won't see her and are her reviews mixed and objective? One man's trash is another's treasure. More importantly I also look at each member that posted a review.....how many reviews has he posted, has he posted a review on a provider that I have seen or someone I know has seen, has he posted reviews in different areas and on different kind of providers?? If you network with guys you can trust that have the same taste as you, chances are they may have posted a review or have some intel on a provider you want to see. We all seem very quick to complain about TER and CL but what the fuck would we do if they did not exist??? And why do people on this board have the "that's what you get" attitude when someone brings up some information on a bad provider. I looked at that girl and might have called her but now I know, and knowing is have the battle. Somebody should have simply said thank you to CautiousOne!!

I think whoever it was calling had my number from when i called a provider and tried to set something up. I had never seen this girl and didn't recgonize the name so I wouldn't be surprised if this was a part of a sting-setup. When we call, the girls keep our numbers, if and when they get busted the LE's start fishing. Be careful

As I said before, some people are not getting the purpose of TER. It is free if you post a couple of reviews from time to time, which should be an incentive for people to post. It's much easier than coming here or some other site asking for info about a certain provider I may want to see. If I go there and see a review on a provider from someone like Marlowe, CautiousOne or other hobbyists here, I will use that as part of my determination regarding whether or not I see that provider. On the other hand, Marlowe or CautiousOne may not be online here when I'm seeking info about that provider. TER like any other site is going to have some folks that fake, full of BS etc. but I can't count how many times a couple of bad reviews from hobbyists with credibility prevented me from seeing a provider. At the very least it is a good resource to find a known bad provider and I always feel comfortable with a provider that has 10 or more positive reviews. Just like that chainsaw in your garage, if you use it correctly it will probably be safe but if you are careless you might have a bad experience.

Slam who you will. Marlow is a well-respected well-posted member here. I've slowed down a lot but still am creeping up on 500....
I was once a paying member of TER and posted numerous- maybe 50-60+ reviews on TER giving honest opinions of what my experiences were...
Then, about two of every three "honest" reviews that I put up suddenly disappeared. I was given credit for them, they were up and there to see, then "poof" gone.
So I investigated this.. asked some of my regulars what happened to the reviews I put up for them. They told me they had been contacted VIA THE INFO ON THE BOARD and told basically to "put out or lose their reviews". Considering a few years ago TER was the mongerer's Zagot, losing all their reviews meant losing their business. Plus, other "ROB" providers suddenly got rave reviews and 9's and 10's for service- with reviews stating $120 rates that somehow ended up to be $120 for showing up and $400 more for any action.
Somewhere along the line TER became totally corrupted. So take from TER what you will- but it's just about as big a flip of the coin as just calling someone off CL.

There is another board that I am beginning to question as well . Today I actually had a discussion wondering why certain well reviewed girls have elected to leave that board.
Regardless, you take it as a resource and if a trusted member known for wrting accurate reviews gives a good review then you are have a little more confidence going in.
I think where I and maybe others get into difficulty is when the quest for something new has the little head looking for new rather than going for a known entity.
Looking at my own reviews I have had more than my share of TOFTT experiences. Like Honey the other day, I hope my experience helped prevent others from making the same mistake.

You guys may want to gas up your rides for a road trip. Mistakenly landed on CL San Diego and started browsing, the talent there appears to be much, much better than here, at least from what I saw. I didn't do any research or anything, but just from checking out the pics there are a lot of hotties down South. Maybe all of the LA hotties headed to Vegas for New Years Eve or home for the holidays but LA has been kinda slow for the last couple of weeks. Called her. Mentioned BC. She sounded sweet. I set the exact time with her, 45 minutes from the call and asked if she would do some lap dances and she would make an exception for me. Called when I took off and asked her to call me in case of an emergency (flaking for any reason). I had other numbers just in case she was a stand-up.
At the place, I called her and she was just pulling in. So obviously she wasn't busy enough to stay at the place.
