As long as the service is good I can usually deal with the environment to a certain extent. I don't allow most to come to my home and never with a first visit. Reasons include issues with a driver or having one case my home and come back to rob me later. There are a few I have history with that I have over. As for going to their "homes" I have been to a lot of questionable places over the years. Depending on your mood, when you just got to have it, you'll probably take it wherever it's located.

But as others have said, you're taking a big chance having anyone to your place for a first meeting. I've done that only a couple times, but they were all gals that had been around the local area for a long time, with nothing but rave reviews square across the board.
