You may be able to get a text forwarding app for your main phone that forwards texts to your burner. Obviously, test it extensively prior to use.
Is there another electric car with less obvious tracking? Feign disgust with Elon and buy something else.
The beater car that I was driving around town finally bit the dust. It needs $3000 in repairs and it's only worth $1600 KBB value so I'm not fixing it. Ironically it broke down just as I was pulling into my neighborhood after some hobby fun. If it had broken down 20-30 minutes earlier I would have had a fun time explaining to family why I needed to be towed from Little Saigon, so dodged a bullet there. Wife and I already knew we were on borrowed time with that car (15 years and 200 k miles) and decided a long time ago that we would replace it with a second Tesla when the time came. Well the time has come and we're abojt to become a completely gas free household.
Awesome, except Teslas are trackable. The last thing I need is for my wife to open the app and see that the other car is in Little Saigon or at some random hotel. It's possible to turn that off, but when you turn it off the app shows that you turned it off. That throws a bit of a wrench into this hobby for me. I haven't figured what my workaround is going to be yet. Maybe I turn it off and call it a "glitch. " But then we have location sharing on our phones too, which I turn off when I'm hobbying. The phone and the car can't both have glitches at the same time.
My other thought is get a burner phone and leave my regular phone in my office when I'm out, then the car can have a little glitch. The only thing I'd have to explain there is why it took me 2 hours to respond to a text.
Technology giveth and technology taketh away.
I got my daughter a new non-electric car for college just a few months ago and it's fully trackable as well. I can even turn on alerts if I want to notify me if she's speeding or driving recklessly. I don't do that but I could. It's just one of those things with technology now.
As far as I'm aware, all EVs have the same issue. Your phone is your car key and it controls everything. We already have one Tesla and the home charging infrastructure. If we added another brand we'd have to add another charger for it and it adds a couple thousand dollars to the cost. Yeah I could use the Tesla charger with an adapter plug but that's not ideal either.
The other thing about EVs, not to turn this into an EV pros and cons thread, is that still the only EV that you can realistically take on a long distance road trip is a Tesla. Nobody else has the charging infrastructure built up yet. If you want to drive up to say San Francisco it's difficult to impossible to do it in any EV that isn't a Tesla. In a Tesla it's super easy. While everyone else was sleeping, Tesla quietly rolled out a network of conveniently spaced super chargers so you can take a long road trip. It just means that you plan your lunch stop around where the next supercharger is. Hyundai is getting there with its Ioniq, but even with that you're more or less at the mercy of what you can do on a full charge.
Obviously Elon doesn't do any mongering of his own.

Thanks
You are not going to get a good answer because it is very complicated. . .
Thank you for your thoughtful observations.
It's tough to get a constructive dialogue going on-line (lots of flame-throwers around), but we do see some useful and thoughtful exchanges here in this Rants and Stupid thread. Thanks, guys!
Lift Her Up.
I am just sad that folks some folks have poisoned the well, or our minds, without any hard evidence. For some of us, who really enjoyed seeing Amy and are / were planning to repeat, it sure sows a doubt in our mind. I can't help but look at her feet next time I see her.
To be honest I was planning on seeing her when she gets back since I wasn't able to see her last time. Which bummed me out cause she was booked solid. All this new information doesn't seem factual enough to make it real. It's a lot of speculation and "trust me bro" knowledge. I still plan on scheduling a visit because I'm just not convinced all these rumors are true. I plan on reporting back with my results to y'all.

Yes he does. With his employees. LOL!
Don't be such a cheap ass. This is an expensive hobby, flip phones don't work. You need a smart phone. I've had bookers send pics and maps on how to get to the apt. With a flip phone, the screen is so small you can't see the pic. And how the heck are you texting on a 10 key pad. Get a decent smart phone and a decent phone plan. Tmobile coverage is dismal. Stick with verizon or ATT. I've tried Goggle voice / text and it's not that reliable. Just get a pay as you go phone; I pay $35/ month with ATT and never have an issue. That works out to $400 a year. That's one session. It's worth it.
Maybe cheap. But I need something small and easily put away with a long charge. I do not want to explain where that extra phone is for while being charged in the car.

And yes I have to drive her in my car. On occasions.

Lol
Bro. Please resond. Which Amy? The viet on in OC GFE only?
Yes, the Amy everyone's been talking about.
Actually, most new cars are trackable now, electric or not.
Of course. My new car is trackable as well. But it's a different brand than my wife's and she doesn't have the app on her phone for that reason. She doesn't even know the password, so she can't look it up online.

Amy
Yep, to each is own. IMHO a trany is a trany. No way I would knowingly fuck a trany. Trany is a man with the cock removed and a pussy installed.
A real women is my only interest. I really appreciate all of the info on this.
I 1000 percent agree. Even if she was born a man it doesn't take away from the fact that's she's gorgeous. Really would just add to the mystique but I can also understand why some people would want to know. She's so good looking I don't think this information would do anything to curb her popularity.

If the illusion is so perfect that you can't see through it even with your guard up, it is 100% straight & heterosexual to smash "her", so who cares?
This only applies to 0.1% of trans, maybe less. I don't even think Blaire White really passes once you consider "her" stocky figure & husky voice.
If a magician could turn a rabbit into a perfect replica of Sydney Sweeney, we would all smash & not be like "eww but that's technically bestiality".
If Terry Crews & Keith David were like "I was born white" at some point you just have to be impressed & be like "ok you got me, you deserve the W".
Look at the pic below. Men just don't have figures & curves like that. You can go on porn sites & look up the top trans porn stars. They're all stocky or at least straight waisted.
Honestly my take is that I don't believe she's a dude (I didn't see her irl though) & I'm not sure why some people are convinced otherwise.
Would you guys buy fake rolexes that are so good, you can't tell? Even at a discount? Unless there's something I don't know about trannys, the surgery they go through changes their chest and crotch area mainly. The face and head is basically just hair and makeup that any man can do. Part of what the people have done with amy is dfk and BBBJ. Would any of you knowingly get dfk or BBBJ from a regular non tranny man with amazing hair and makeup on to look like a female?
I did see her and I'm extremely bothered by this.

Can we move on to a new topic of HYA in OC instead of all this tranny talk?

Faraday Cage
Certainly get a burner phone, but one option that might work for you is a modified Faraday Cage.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faraday_cage
If you turn off the tracking, I think it will show that you turned it off no?
Many potato chip and other bags have an aluminum lining.
Put your phone in a clean potato chip or other bag, seal it (test it first) and with a little trial and error, you can have a non-descript faraday cage.
Easy to explain away such a snack bag in your car.
Can't help with the automotive tracking, sorry.

Can't help with the automotive tracking, sorry.
Oh yeah, Faraday bags are easy to come by. Good ones are expensive, but as you say you can use a foil lined pouch and it will likely work. That part is the least of my worries though. I could always just get a burner phone to take with me on hobby trips and leave my normal phone behind so it looks like I'm where I should be. If the wife happens to text me while I'm out it's easy to explain that away. I was busy and didn't see the text notification.
The bigger concern is of course the vehicle tracking. For that I'll just have to create an alibi for being wherever I am. I had a meeting in that area or something, and then I park the car in some un-suspicious location and take an uber from there if I have to. It's going to take some creativity but I'll figure it out.
Yes, when you disable tracking on either a car or a phone it usually shows that tracking has been turned off. Fortunately I don't think my wife really tracks me, other than to occasionally see if I'm on my way home from somewhere. But with us getting a second Tesla, there's always the possibility that she decides to drive somewhere for lunch (she rarely does), and then if she opens the app she will very likely see that the other car is at some unexpected location. That's where the trouble starts. I think the only solution to that is to not take the car to said "unexpected location. ".
