I have chatted with about 10 girls whom I thought serous SB's and what I am looking for (mostly college girls and some other 25-30 yr range). In most cases, we agreed on almost everything (I am not a haggler when it comes to allowance as long as the offer is reasonable), except the photo issue. They were adamant either I upload private photos and give access to them or e-mail or text them photos. I was stubborn and didn't give in, so most of these chats ended there. I'll summarize what I do and hope that helps. If you have an active membership you don't have to load a public photo that shows on your public profile. I have no public photos but have two private photos loaded. They are really me. I control access to who sees them. When I have an interest in a profile I send a message and give them access to my private photos. It shows you're sincere to give them access first. I also request access to their photos. If I get no response in a reasonable time, or no access to their photos, I remove access to my photos. Often I'll block them too as being time wasters. My public profile also states very clearly that I will not respond to anyone who requests my photos without introducing themselves first. It happens anyway. I either ignore it or send a short reply if I'm interested; but they don't get access until I get a positive response. Photo collectors aren't serious. Sometimes I tell them if they read my profile they'd know they need to introduce themselves first so they know what a dumbass they are. I get blocked. LOL.

I believe the real SB's think it's important to see your photo before they are going to respond. I understand your reluctance but it's going to drive the good ones away. You want to see their photos don't you? Even one will do. They want to know you're real and it's suspicious otherwise. The pros only care about the cash as you discovered. Doing it my way limits my risk to those I think are serious. I've never had a problem.

I want the same type of SB as you. How you approach them in your initial message is ultra important. As soon as an SB posts her profile she's inundated with crude messages like, "How much for an hour?" and dick pictures. Those guys aren't looking for an SB; they're looking for a cheap hooker. The SB's you want to see get frustrated by that crap. So you want to stand out from the crowd. I introduce myself. Say something about their profile, use their name, so they know you read it. Compliment them on their photos or something they say in their profile. Then I say I'm looking for in an arrangement. Women are attracted by politeness, being respected and treated like a human being. They aren't "objects" and reject being treated like that. I also suggest we get to know each other eventually by meeting in a public place of their choice for coffee, lunch, or dinner with no other expectation than to see if you both want to move forward. They want to feel safe meeting you for the first time. In your case you can tell the truth about your privacy concerns and that you'll share your private photo soon if there's a connection on the site. Just tell the truth. I end my message asking if we may, not can, continue with a discussion. I'm asking for their permission to talk.

SA is about numbers. I send a ton of messages and I get a small number of quality responses. My approach works for me and I'm very selective about who I see.

-totally agree about giving them a compliment and personalizing the message. Tell them they have a great smile or pretty eyes. If they have a pic with a dog, ask the pups name. Something like that.

-I always request pic access when they request mine. I've found almost without fail that if someone doesn't almost immediately message back or give me access after they viewed my pics, they aren't into me. So I'm quick to remove access, if I've seen that they viewed my profile again.
