HGH. Just my opinions on it.
I did some extensive research on this some time back -- more for exercise performance reasons and overall life satisfaction than sexual reasons, but I'm sure pretty much everyone of the age and with the interest in sex to read this thread has had at least a fleeting interest in it.
My issue with HGH is the promotion of cell growth and division. What is good for the body when you're young is not necessarily good for the body when you're older. It's tampering with nature and in my opinion that's always dangerous. Supposedly, we all have cells in our body which have the potential to participate in cancerous behavior. Not only do these cells become more susceptible to change as we get older, but the rest of our bodies (our organs, our bones, etc.) are in a state of sustenance rather improvement, and are far less adaptable to change than when we were younger. This is one reason we have a higher risk of cancer if we are a smoker / drinker at age 60 than we did at age 20. The parts of our body that do not want foreign tumors in them are older, weaker, and less able to resist.
So, because HGH is a cell growth booster, guess which cells will benefit most from this improvement? The ones that are already prone to rapid division and metastasis. This means that if we do have cancer-prone cells, they are going to FUCKING LOVE HGH, it will be the best thing that's ever happened to them.
I'm not suggesting everyone who tries hormone replacement therapy is going to quickly tumor-up and die. But everything that is known about science says that tampering with nature like this is risky, and everything that is known about common sense in life tells us that most things are pay now or pay later. If a magic treatment gives you immediate and unexplainable happiness, you can be almost certain there is a price to be paid for that (over and above the ridiculous prices the pharmaceutical companies command).
Your natural testosterone production can be amped up by regular exercise. If you are exercising regularly and your body still says "no more", that is nature's way of telling you to slow down a bit and helping you extend your life. When you go against nature, just be aware you may be shortening your life significantly (or at least putting yourself into a disabled state faster).
We live in a country where doctors and medicine are a for-profit industry. Be careful what someone sells you.
I personally decided to go natural or not at all. I suppose if something psychologically devastating enough happened to me that I was at a point where I would contemplate suicide, then at that point I might want to load up on Viagra and HGH and go fuck anything I could. But until then there is a good case for taking care of myself and keeping my dick going naturally for as long as possible.
Anyone use EDEX or Caverject
I'm 59 yrs old and a year and a couple of months removed from having a prostatectomy; all is good from cancer side of things and most side effects but for ED issues. I had some ED issues before the surgery and Cialis helped somewhat. Post surgery has been a different story. Meds have been ineffective; use of vacuum device facilitates a healthy erection but unable to keep it for sex; next up is to try EDEX or Caverject injections. I'm not looking forward to putting a needle in my penis, but I'm not ready to give up on having sex and I understand these drugs can provide healthy erections. Any of you have experience with either? I've followed this thread for sometime and actually had a couple of SBs presurgery, but right now I have more pressing concerns. Thanks for any light you can shed on the injections. #4025.
