I can't speak to the odor you experienced, though. Any of these spots with the specials, I always text first. Some will do some kind of special even if it's not advertised. Once they have you in the door, you're pretty much screwed. I rarely do MPs since they tend to be pricier and higher volume. But I would imagine that with so much competition, most providers will make a deal via text if it means they can make something. I've had better experiences at the $100 rate at AMPs.
