"Cool kids" laugh at my phone but it works for voice and text, which is all I care about.

Wondering of the pros / cons of using a text or voice app as alternative to getting a burner phone like discussed here. I know some providers put in their ad 'no text app' but how can they tell? A while back I experimented with one of the text apps and the messages were received normally. I did not see any sign it was not from a regular phone.

But I'm lazy, and using an app is more convenient for me.

On top of Rayna's other charges, late last month eviction papers were served. Probably to cold put now to have a rummage sale of well used sex toys. On the other hand, WA Lynn has a bench warrant issued for non appearance on her multiple charges. More bold than Rayna, she still posts seeking guys with balls bigger than their brain. Then there is the slippery Tanya G. She's been strung out and avoiding penalty since 2019. Also still active and accepting all cummers.
Pretty soon it sounds like Rayna will be getting some lesbo action behind bars. She can probably recruit some ladies from the inside to work at her new dungeon if she ever finds a place to live after she gets out. Giant balls if you visit her or WA Lynn now.

I carried a burner phone for many years. I was able to open the account without any real personal information. I would buy minute cards with cash for extra layer of security. I didn't want anyone "following the money". When I retired, I discarded the phone because it was hard to hide or keep discrete.
I now use Google voice. You have to log in with it with a Google I'd but you can create one with fictitious information. Here is my concern. Since you use your own phone, there is the potential, if need be, to obtain your IP address from the Wi-Fi you use in your house. The app obviously uses the Internet. I suppose you could get around that by never using it when you are on your Wi-Fi. That would be completely inconvenient, and not really worth the effort.
I really don't think law-enforcement would routinely research your number, unless you were tied into someone who was arrested, and they want to do a deep dive in her phone. Milwaukee Police has a very good Internet investigative unit. If they want you, they will find you. I think the odds are generally in our favor. If you are seeing a provider who draws the attention of MPD, I would suggest to never ever contact that woman again. I would also suggest deleting the number from the app and then doing what you can to delete the app from your phone. This may be overkill, but some of us cannot afford that type of attention.
Personally, I would lean more towards a physical burner phone you can get it activated without personal information. That is just my two cents on the matter. Oh and also turn off the location setting on a burner. Your whereabouts can be tracked after the fact. The same can apply to the app on your personal phone. It's a pain in the ass of course. It all depends how paranoid you are.

I was told by an UTR that her brother got 95 years for having a house of prostitution. I'm sure, if true, there was a host of other charges along with it but does LEO really clobber people with such severe penalties?

She was a member on the HOH site. I don't recall her getting any heavy time for it. Google has the info if one wants to look it up. There was another one that I know that got busted for the same thing. She got less than a year in County and probation for a couple of years.
So, what is a prostitute going to do to pay fines and court costs? LOL!
Edit to add: there was a guy in Milwaukee that got hammered a couple of years ago but he was pimpin' big time, IIRC.

What Is a Class H Felony in Wisconsin?
A Class H felony warrants a fine of up to $10,000 and / or up to six years in prison, and is the least serious felony besides a Class I Felony.
Don't think her brother got 95 years for the same felony; at least not in WI.

I wonder if that's when they started investigating, if so, that's a lot of time to gather info on her johns. I wouldn't go near that place or see any of the providers that she pimped out on STG. But that's just me.
If you read articles on line regarding prostitution in Milwaukee, it appears the police are more involved in getting these girls help and linking them up with services. They are more apt to come after John's to decrease demand with stings and so forth. I have noticed through my research that very few street girls are being picked up. They are left alone for the most part. Online providers get a pass too. It's the John's who are at risk but maybe we are not the priority?
With that said, I would definitely think that at least some of her clients could be at risk. It makes sense. Build a case of significance and scare away those who may be tempted to partake. If a girl I had been seeing got busted, I personally would be crapping my pants and purging any electronic trail I could think up.
I haven't kept up with the story of the New Berlin escort who got busted and several of her clients were contacted by LE. That may be a good case study. I don't know who the girl is, so it is difficult to do much digging.
