Dude, if I am wrong about you, then I apologize. Go to forums, go to California, then scroll down to San Fernando Valley (that's what SFV stands for) and you will find all of the info you need. I warn you that both tracks in this area are sporadic, you might get lucky or you might cruise for hours and see nothing. The best times seem to be 2 a.m. to about 6 a.m. lately.

Next time, don't rent a Crown Vic or any type of Ford or Chevy that the local LE undercovers use, ask around, and surely you can get some advice on what works. Any type of convertible is good, even though they charge you extra for them. I have also had good luck with Chrysler products. If you decided to PM me Sparkle's info I wouldn't protest.

I think you may not be as bad off as you suggest. It sounds like the cop only wrote a note on your ticket that suggested he suspected you of something (presumably 647(b) or 653.22). But, he did not write you a citation for that, and certainly did not arrest you for it. Therefore, all you're charged with is a moving violation of some sort.

I would think, although I don't know for sure, because this is outside the realm I deal with regularly, that you are not likely to have any notice of the 647(b) (solicitation) on your mailing. If you're married, I'd just find an excuse to drive in that area sometime, then tell her that you got pulled over for some bullshit and given a ticket. Then she won't be surprised to see the ticket in the mail. I don't know if she's the nosy type, and would note the date difference, but I certainly don't think that any warning on the ticket will appear in the citation. It will only be a simple recitation of the charges against you (speeding? Stopping in traffic? Whatever), and how you can pay the ticket, to traffic school, or fight it.

I would not fight the ticket. If you're too good, you never know if the cop goes to the City Attorney and gets them to file on you in revenge. I'd pay it or go to traffic school.

Just happened to read this board and think I have a solution to your problem. Get a P.O. Box from the Post Office for a month and have your mail temporarily forwarded to that P.O. Box, once you recieve the notice have your mail go back to your house. Just make sure you make it temporary and you don't do a family move just your name.

I usually pick up SW about twice a month, going back to the late 90's, if you do the math that comes up to well over 200 girls, although I'm not quite at Baldy's status, or maybe even yours (I'm not assuming how many you've picked up); I'm definitely not a rookie in this game.

I won't argue that the basic going rate is 8-$, because that's usually what I get quoted when I approach girls on Fig, but I don't pay that, and sometimes I've had to pass on girls who wouldn't budge. But there's plenty of girls, if you have the patience, and resourcefulness to negotiate with them; a lot of them will go lower if you can convince them, or if you catch them on an opportunistic time.

I didn't say that I usually get it for 40, actually my normal donation is 60 but with the recent economic turn I've definitely gotten girls to do FS for 40.

PIGUEROA=Figueroa St. between Vernon and Imperial Hwy.
SB=Sepulveda Blvd between the 101 and 118 Fwys. (in the Valley)
SFR=San Fernando Road between Roxford St. and Lankershim Blvd. (also in the Valley)
Some sporadic action on Imperial Hwy between Crenshaw Blvd. and the 405 fwy.

Because it has been dormant for so long, I haven't seen anything good there in months, the same reason that I ignored Century Blvd. I thought he was interested in active strolls where there was at least the possibility of action!

I've mentioned this before, in that I deal frequently with many of the folk who stroll Figueroa and other similar areas doing things that get them arrested. Realize this, you don't believe that you are doing anything that is morally wrong - and I agree with you. Therefore, by prostituting themselves, the girls are not doing anything morally wrong. However, they are far more likely to have gone to jail in the past, and to have a record for things related and unrelated to prostitution in their past as well. Many of these women are drug users, some have been to prison before for things both minor and serious, and they frequently have some bad-assed associates out there (and that's not just pimps).

In other words, while most of you would likely never commit any other types of crimes that involve hurting others or taking from others and confine yourselves solely to the acts of "carnal lust," these girls are not doing this out of carnal lust, they are very knowingly and brazenly breaking the law, and frequently going to jail for it. Do not assume that they have the same views of crime as you do - many do, many do not, and discerning the difference could be beyond any of our abilities (including mine, and again, I deal with criminals every day).

It is for this reason I say not to ever get into fights with these girls, and avoid at all costs any confrontation which may involve the police coming in (such as Baldy's situation on LBB where a girl stole his camera). If you are married, or in a position where just being arrested puts you in a very bad position in life (even if you're never charged), realize that most of these girls are not in the same position as you. They are not afraid of being hooked up, as long as they don't have charges filed. So, while you will do anything to avoid having police notice you, they stand on the street in short skirts, knowing the police are watching them, hoping to just avoid a criminal filing.

Thus, keep all of your things safe, be careful the information you give them about yourself, do not get into fights with them over money or services, it's just not worth it. I deal with it all the time in my work, and even if you're right, you lose by having any contact with the police.

There was one particular good looking LSW standing at a bus stop a few blocks south of vernon. But after cruising for a while, I saw her get into a grey buick, and then get dropped off at the same bus stop. Every SW I pulled up to, took one look, and either turned their back or walked away rather fast. I don't look like a LEO, and I'm not an ugly dude, so the only other thing I can think of was my car (newer year luxury sedan). Did they think I was a undercover cop, or a pimp? If so, has anyone else had a similar situation? Should I switch to my other older run around car? That shit is frustrating.

Don't worry too much. I have 3 different types of cars I monger in 1 is a luxury sedan, the other is luxury SUV, and the third is a top of the line Pick up truck., I've gotten lucky in all 3. You just have to keep at it. Don't look too desperate either, pass by try to make eye contact and pull over around the corner (I NEVER stop in the middle of the track, always on a side street). Maybe there was a bust or somethin a few minutes before you arrived. Just keep at it, play it cool, and remember you're paying so. YOU ARE IN CHARGE, speak and act accordingly.

LAPD has locked it down. I live close by and drive by on my way home late at night. I either see a cruiser parked with their lights off at shakeys or at serano and sunset or the silver or gold crown vic that stalks sunset at night.
