Yeah, that thread is where I first heard of him, then later I saw a Maury Povich show with him on there. Maury seems to be a huge fan. I was a little surprised at his appearance, but then I wasn't. I saw the report on the news tonight about the topless bar in Birmingham near Trussville. I thought it humorous the residents saying how they have a 'quiet' neighborhood, yet the race course is right there, and not only that but there's a few discreet gambling halls around there as well right on Highway 11. Yet a strip club is so awful it brings a line of people to protest it. I've rode around for close to 20 years and have passed many strip clubs around town, and the only strip club I can remember that had a strong possibility of having SW walking around it was the old Sammy's and Magic City strip club on 3rd Avenue West. It was more so the area it was in rather than the fact of it being a strip club. I've never seen any SW walking around Charlie's, Sammys on Valley or the Furnace. I never rode by Lynn's that much to offer an opinion of the frequency there. The activity at strip clubs generally happen inside them, not outside. It's just the perception of Soddom and Gomorrah, and oh my, SIN, taking place at a strip club. They might consider those strip clubs Soddom and Gomorrah, but I have yet to see big piles of salt outside of them when I pass by. Gambling and the like is okay, because Brother Robert goes there on Saturday, and then supports the church the next day. And I saw Reverend Martin Luther talking about the detrimental effect the strip club would have on his church, and the ones to be built in the area. Gotta build up those churches, and get those fingers ready to thump.

The perception of the South, particularly Alabama, will never change. That show looks like it was made just to make fun of the various areas of the U.S., and it being from England, they probably soaked it all in as the gospel truth. In a way it pisses me off, and in a way it's funny if you don't think of them trying to portray where we live. It's just people's perceptions without having ever been here, and incidents like that on that show won't help the image. The things they put on their cars thinking it would incense people was just stupid, as I could see the Nascar thing might have upset some of the people at that gas station, but who cares if they said Hillary on there. What might have gotten them beat up is who calls country music 'country western'. There was alot more images of Alabama I could have seen them putting on there which would have pissed off many more people, such as 'Crimson Tide sucks', 'Auburn sucks', or 'Dale Jr sucks'. So now the British think all the hick towns in Alabama have people randomly shooting at the signs on the road, and sending posses of 'the boys' after people for stupid reasons. I wonder what their perception would have been if they'd stopped for gas in Ensley or Woodlawn.

On another topic, I was out today and saw a young white SW walking down Arrington Blvd in Kingston around the old Rooter Tooter store, but as usually happens she had a thug tailing her trying to make himself look inconspicuous. She was tall and thin, with brown hair in a ponytail and looked about 22-25 or so. I'd seen that girl out in the past in the daytime, but she was always hanging around there like she was just hanging out or waiting on the bus. I agree, F&F, that having a thug follow them around isn't going to help their pick-ups much, unless it's someone who just don't care. Having a thug hanging around is bad enough, but it makes me less willing to pick someone up knowing they have someone waiting for them because I know it would be a rushed experience. That's part of the reason I circle several times if I see a potential pick-up just to see if they've got some thug watching. I know they think they're protecting the girl, but how much protection can they really do by being in the shadows, unless a John started attacking the girl as she walked down the street. I'd think if they were going to attack a girl, they'd probably carry them to a secluded spot where the thug boyfriend was nowhere around. In most cases, the shadow is there because they have a drug habit themselves, and they're waiting on the girl to get back with the money to buy both of their fixes.

Made a trip thru b'ham yesterday. On the morning ride thru I checked the Finley and 1st ave areas with no luck. On the way back thru that evening around 12-2pm I hit the 1st ave, 3rd st and Bessemer areas with no luck. Went over to Finley area and found a skinny BSW and a full figure blonde WSW. Well, there's an old nasty looking WSW who's around 50th lately. She's got short hair like a male would wear and glasses, and she looks about 50 years old. That could have been her. I thought his arrest was hilarious. Just go to google and enter "video vigilante arrested" to do a search to read more on his arrest. I don't know if it ever went to court or whatever, though.

Birmingham police officer charged with rape, sodomy

A West Precinct officer has been charged with rape and sodomy, Birmingham police announced this evening.

A 23-year-old woman told police that Officer Cleveland Reynolds, who has been with the department for a year, sexually assaulted her while he was on duty.

Reynolds, who works the 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. shift, is being held at the Jefferson County Jail on bonds totaling $120,000.


Police said the assault happened on July 9 in the western part of the city. Police spokesman Sgt. Johnny Williams declined to provide additional information about the incident.

Williams said he did not know if Reynolds has an attorney.

Reynolds is on paid administrative leave.

Regarding body cavity searchs, I find it hard to believe they literally crawl up everyones ass that gets booked in the county jail.

But, even if they did, I guess she could swallow a balloon filled with whatever contraband and then wait for however long and, assuming she has a place to hide it for 20 days, she has her stash. And in her case, she probably had a few days to report whereas a SW does not.

I saw a movie where mexicans were swallowing big quantitites of drugs that way smuggling drugs in and every so often, one would break and the mule would die. I think 60 pills would be fairly small compared to the pounds of heroin the mexicans were smuggling in.

Becky went through a very nasty divorce a few of years ago. For a while she had some girls working out of her house and from what I understand, her ex turned her in as a matter of vengeance.
