When the guy listened to message and heard my name he realized he had messed up and was texting wrong number.

He called me and apologized and told me what had happened he called a ad on BP and the girl came to his house and she was not the same girl in the ad he had called. They claim they can hide the money from their account better if they buy a gift card. I just think there has to be a catch. Any opinions?

My thoughts are these:

1. As a customer it is sometimes easier to secure a pre-paid Visa for say $100 from Walgreens or Target by simply purchasing one with a credit card. If one does not have access to cash, this works great. It is somewhat confidential, as the credit card statement lists the store and the charge.

2. They are very secure. Don't take it out of the package. The person can call to verify the funds. The funds are secure. A person can't cancel the card without the number, so again, leave it in the package.

3. For some, a provider who takes a card my be a little less risk; they maybe don't have an immediate need for cash. (For a buy of some kind?)

4. While I DO understand that cash is king, this gives the customer another option when cash just ain't available.

If you are comfortable with a customer that you have seen before, why not take the card?

It's a great option I think.

She has Green Dot so the easiest way was to go to Wal Greens near work and purchase a 100$ refill card. Costs 4. 95$ and paid with cash. No record at all (unless you count the store cam). Then could call her with the number under the scratch-off strip and she was good to buy anywhere. That saved me a trip from Dayton when I was feeling extra generous. Sure they are some provider that post ever day which if you ad it up at the end of the week might be 7 ads. But you were running for to five ads daily and some of them twice totalling up to 40 to 50 ads plus. Plus you and some senior members said on the rants and rave section to the effect that unless Jackson puts a limit on how many ads we can post in a period of time. Now that what happen. Please do not get offend just putting out there the facts as I see them.

I realize you are upset about the limits on your ads. But my question is why you are not keeping your website up to date if we hobbyist are limited to the website for info. Under the model's section there is only Crissee and Erika. I thought you had many other ladies in your group. And if some of these ladies are no longer in the hobby, then you should not include them on your website or in your ads. Help us understand our true choices. And include cell numbers. In your past ads, you have included a cell number for each provider. The website does not provide this info. First let me say I believe every provider has the right to choose the form of payment they are comfortable with receiving. Also I understand the reservations some people have about receiving visa gift cards. I did want to mention there are several different cards being discussed each with own qualities. I have used visa gift cards in the past with some very reputable providers. I include the purchase receipt and leave them in be package. They can be called in a verified by the provider and since they act like debit cards they can't be canceled. Certainly not canceled if they are in the package and I couldn't even read the account number.

Some providers may choose to accept them which may broaden their base and others may not. It is their business to run as they a see fit. But there are guys that would like the option if you are willing.
