I'm getting back into the game after years. I used to troll Sandy from Prescott to Burnside area, but the few times I've done that recently I've seen nothing. Still seeing sporadic options, mainly From Glisan to Fremont, and Stark to Holgate areas. Met a older blonde wearing black running pants near Popeye's on Fremont the other night. Missed an extremely curvy black girl in tight jeans and black suede boots crossing Powell the other night. She was gone by the time I was able to loop back around. Saw a chubby punk girl with pink hair, skirt and fishnets. Missed her near Glisan but met her near Division. We went to watch movies at Taboo.

Thinking about trying the SW scene tonight. Any tips? Things to look for? Looking to head out in a couple hours. Feel free to pm. Thanks in advance.

There used to be a post floating around called "<someone's rules for street mongering" or something. Maybe someone can post that. The first rule is, don't talk through the window. You pull up (on a side street, dammit!) and she comes to the window, all you say is, "hey there, need a ride?" and see if she gets in. If she asks if you want a date or whatever, you don't answer until she's sitting next to you and wheels rolling. This is to avoid LE stings and it's great advice. Usually a cop or CI won't risk getting in the car.

Other than that, I'd say the main thing is, take it slow. First few nights out, just cruise the stroll and get a feel for it: where the girls are, if there are any cops out, good side streets for pickups, a secluded spot for a car date, and so on. It's ok to change your mind once the girl is in the car, just be a gentleman and drop her off near where you picked her up. And if you're polite and respectful, you'll get better service (IME).

And read every one of Zavi's posts! Twice!

Good points and read the 22 rules. One of my rules is always drive a good distance from where you pick up the SW. I recommend driving at least a mile or a min of 10 blocks or more on empty streets. Also try and find a area where you can only enter from one direction. This reduces the amount of traffic passing by.

I know some of you have no place to do the deed. I've been there & it's a never ending hassle to find that perfect place to relax. I know it's tempting to park in some dark residential area & I've recently missed a few pickups only to see dumbshits park directly in front of some civilians' house. Whatever you do, stay out of the residential areas! We're in some kind of reduced PPD effort era as far as 82nd prostitution is concerned lately & the surest way to fuck that up is to piss off the residents right off 82nd. Many residents that live along there despise that, "livability" & all that shit. Right now, the out of control homeless & related are city halls focus, yet it could easily turn & focus again on SW's. Some of you surely remember when Montavilla residents marched about the prostitution on 82nd & bitched to city hall to put a stop to it. Not a good time for mongers or any workers. So, spring for a room, hit the video places or find a dark corner of some park. Out of sight out of mind is better for all concerned.

Don't start driving erratically or bring attention to yourself when you see that one that makes you dick jump out of your shorts. I can't tell you how many times I've seen one that piqued my interest & flip around to intercept only to have some asshat who spotted her too pass me on some residential street at 50 MPH+ to be the first to her or cut me off right in front of her. Yeah, her ass is wiggling like three squirrels in sack & calling your name. Yet really think about it, Portland pedestrians are as dumb as fuck & roaring through the neighborhood at that speed is not going to turn out well for anyone.

Always have an excuse why you're out in case you get pulled over. 82nd is easy with all the business's around or dream up a few of your own like my surefire excuses.

Relax. I can always pick out some of the mongers out who don't & if I can recognize you, sure as shit PPD will, remember the hunt is as almost as much fun as finding that cutie who bangs you cross-eyed into next week. Stay hydrated, listen to your favorite tunes etc. & in my case pet the copilot.

Remember there's always another cutie down the block.

I'm sure some of us locals have more tips we'd like all want to hear.

That's where I've spotted the most BSW. Except for the purpled haired crackhead who's out a fair amount wouldn't call any of them "thin". No, I take that back. Not that long ago I tried to scoop a cute & young thin BSW on 82nd just South of Holgate, she wouldn't get in my ride with my furfaced copilot riding shotgun.

Feasible probably not, certainly not the most efficient. But anything's possible. Depends how much you like to walk.

Is a bike your main form of wheels? Suppose you could ride up & down 82nd until you find that one you like.

Also, guess you could bus it to promising areas & then recon on foot. Repeat until you find one.

I'd keep looking online if you're so focused so specifically on that type & BBFS. The couple BSW's I've snagged over the years were far from wanting to offer any BB anything to this pale ass bozo.

Personally I have not a lot of problems taking SW's to residential areas. But it can be risky if the locals are riled up. This is one reason why I drive a good distance and leave the area if there has been a lot of news abot prostitution etc. It is a good idea to try and do drive around look for good location. Sometimes I will use Google earth or maps to look potential locations. It is also a good idea not go back to location to often. The girls will take other guys there and will leave red flags such as condoms.

You guys are lucky that there is some good SW's around Here in SD I have not seen a SW worth picking up in 3 years. So these days I visit TJ. Now I have picked a lot of SW's over the years so here is some more tips..Getting ph #'s from SW's is always a good idea. By having phone number you reduce the amount of you potentially waste. The other advantage you reduce your possible exposure to LE. Personally I cannot believe guys don't stop to get ph #'s more often. If you do find hot SW that want to see I you should see her often or as soon as possible. Not sure why, but a lot of SW's phones are only good for a few weeks.

Out tonight and other than getting pulled over (no ticket-he was trolling for a DUI. This was after hitting the N / S for a few hours. Thankfully I left my grass at home. Little loose with that, I'll tighten that up. Ended up having Layla Polish the sword.

So I went out last night around 10:00 pm and saw the lady in red again in the same place by the 7-11. I didn't see the girl in the pajamas this time, maybe the other guy was right and she is across the street in one of the two stores (honey & Cats). There was a young Asian girl walking with earbuds, tight grey pants, and had a lot of cars looking at her and then quickly stopping near her hoping she would notice, but she just kept on walking. I was out after midnight last night. The NE 82nd paving project was in full force, which destroyed that area for trolling. Saw a lot of police activity on 82/ Burnside and then again at Holgate /82. Only saw a couple women out, missed both. There must've been a lot of others out trolling because I saw one guy almost wreck trying to take a right from the left lane to get to one girl.

Oakland is notorious for potholes and unimproved streets (among other things). If you think it's surprising that Portland is spending time and money on 82nd, it's even more amazing to see anything done in Oakland, especially in traditionally working class areas like Inty. But they are doing major road work there, and it has really messed up the stroll. Hard to watch for the ladies when the roads are all torn up!
