Well, I checked the website of the DuPage County Jail, and it appears that the suspect has been incarcerated there for the past 2 years without a trial. Apparently, he has been unable to make bail.
And, since jury trials are on hold indefinitely due to COVID-19, he probably will not be going to trial for quite a while.
