Scenic Route down North Tamiami Trail
The following info was put up in the St. Pete thread as reference for folks up that-a-way traveling down here. I thought I'd put this up and solicit input from readers here on additional input or information.
Tamiami Trail, and some surrounding areas, from southern Bradenton through north Sarasota is chocked full of American Shops and AMPs. I'll try to rattle off the names as best I can remember them, along with a short editorial comment on each. Forgive me if I miss some and feel free to add more detail or more locations. Ideally, this preliminary listing could be supplemented with locations proceeding further south than I usually travel or am familiar with:

[U]Yuuna Spa[/U] in Bradenton (1st Street at 25th Ave E) - CHEAP door fee (60) and OLD attendants (also 60, LOL) willing to take 100 for FS hr.
[U]Star Sauna[/U] in Bradenton (26th Street north of Cortez) - Highly reliable, ever-changing talent of average to above average appearance for 80+120 FS hr.
[U]No-Name-Place[/U] in Bradenton (south side of Cortez Rd just west of 14th Street / US41) - [B]American Shop[/B] - Sometimes known as [U]Kaley's[/U] but not in BP ads. Constant BP ads citing the 1417 address, with totally fake pics. Talent nowhere near pics and mostly Ewww! 160-200 FS.
[U]Royal Spa[/U] in Bradenton (Tamiami Tr at Saunders-63rd Ave) - FKA the horrible [I]Seoul Spa[/I]. Limited recent reports indicate nothing stellar.
[B][u]Sarasota from North to South on Tamiami Trail[/u][/B]
[U]Final Touch[/U] (Tamiami Tr, Sarasota between Pearl and Whitfield) - [B]American Shop[/B] fairly new and now associated with Largo's [U]Leather & Lace[/U] and Tampa's [U]The Ritz[/U]. Better looking girls than any other American Shop I've seen south of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge with real pics in their BP ads. Beware that, as of this date, there is ZERO signage on the building or street, with the existing pole sign citing businesses that are no longer there. Girls vary on rates (I hate that), but other locations run by this group usually go 160-200 for FS.
[U]VIP Sauna[/U] ([U][i]RIGHT[/i][/U] next door to Final Touch) - They DO have a sign on the street. Below average talent and unreliable quality, but always FS for 80+120.
[U]Beyond 2005 Spa[/U] (Tamiami Tr at Tallevast Rd)- Sandy is usually [I]ALWAYS[/I] there and recommended (DATO!) but of average appearance for 80+120 FS. Looks of other girls is often a roll of the dice, but rates should be consistent.
[U]Gold Spa[/U] (west side of Tamiami Tr across from Airport) - no recent reports (is it still open). I went there a few years ago for 80+120 FS with below average looker.
[U]Fusion 41[/U] (east side of Tamiami Tr by airport) - [B]American Shop[/B] with med-low quality talent (think meth-teeth and scraggly hair) but SOME can be ok. Cost unknown but expect 200 or less.
[U]Japan Sauna[/U] (west side of Tamiami Tr across from airport) - Average talent, rotating frequently for 80+120 FS.
[U]AA Massage[/U] (west side of Tamiami Tr north of Mecca Dr) - Name listed on front door, but NOT in BP ads, which cite 5119 unit 1 NTamTrl. No recent reports, but ads do say "Men & Women Welcome", so not sure about odds of FS.
[U]Asian Massage[/U] (North Tamiami Tr) - Reported CLOSED (ph not working). I believe this was one owned by the group busted for racketeering. I only heard HJ's going on here.
[B][u]And some others around SRQ Airport (just north or east of airport)[/u][/B]:
[U]Royal Relaxation[/U] - (Whitfield Ave) - [B]American Shop[/B] that's been there over 10 freakin' years! [B]WAY[/B] below average talent. Mostly Ewww! 160 to 200 FS.
[U]Body Works[/U] - (15th Street East south of 74 Ave Dr E) - [B]American Shop[/B] that's [B][i]WAY WAY WAY[/i][/B] below avg talent (although gorgeous fake pics in ads, but don't be fooled). Entirely Ewww! Few reports. Very much a YMMV gamble.
[U]Sun Spa[/U] (15th Street East) - Used to be, arguably, the best of all listed here (with Hannah (Lisa) and Amy), but new talent recently (Candy & Coco) has reportedly not measured up (search Sarasota AMP thread). 80+120 FS.

Actual [B][i]CLOSURE[/i][/B] of the establishments is not necessarily confirmed by any of the reporting, but one might assume. Over time, one might also theorize that some of these locations could possibly be picked up by other owners and reopened with all new / different talent, services, and business practices (in other words, any old reports would be invalid and new intel would need to be obtained).

Gulf Gate (2128 and 2196)

I was at Siesta Massage one time a few years ago (2128) and was handed off by a mamasan-type to a pudgy girl in full ordinary clothes for TS & massage and I couldn't get any more than a HJ (not that she was enticing enough for more but I tried anyway). After that I just never went back as I don't want to risk wasting my money & time again.
I was considering trying out the "Orange Building" (2196) but research here and on BP drew some red flags. First, I noticed the same person putting up their BP ads also puts up ads for the AMP on Mead (at Clark) and I've seen quite a few reports that the girls at the Mead place tend to ask for WAY too much tip (like 160 to 200), then I dug deeper into this thread and saw some similar reports of very high tip demands from the girls at the "Orange Building" at Gulf Gate.
All of that has caused me to pull the plug on any plans to try to see what *I* could find there myself, at least until I solicit input from the fine gentleman here (and, of course, you guys too. LOL).
Sun Asian-Aroma Spa seems to be circling the drain!
Sun Spa, on 15th Street east side of SRQ airport, seems to be suffering a drastic drop in quality. As has been discussed here extensively, over the past couple of years, Hannah (formerly known as Lisa) and Amy are top-notch providers for the area, seeming to consistently far outshine most of the other local talent in Sarasota and Bradenton. Over the last few months, we've seen Hanna / Lisa disappear for long stretches at a time, and Amy has also been gone on very long 'vacations'. I was coaxed in to see [B]Candy[/B] back in mid-May, who is in her 40's and did NOT measure up to Hannah / Lisa or Amy, and I finally broke down and went to see what [B]Coco[/B] was like just last Saturday (more on Coco in a moment). While there, Kimberly (the Mamasan that's been there for a couple of years), was very vague when I pressed her for when Hannah or Amy would be back. She knows me very well, so I thought it was a bit odd for her to be so mysterious. She finally told me that [U]BOTH[/U] Hannah and Amy would return in TWO MONTHS! I confirmed with her that she meant October, and she vigorously nodded her head in affirmation. Now, I'm not sure that the 'Two Month' hiatus is accurate, and I'm assuming there is something going on that's really none of my business (like personal or family matters, etc.), but the vagueness of the information and the extended period of absence indicates that things aren't going to improve at Sun Spa for a considerable period of time, if ever. From what I could gather, Coco is currently the only girl working there and, considering this is their slow time of year (snowbirds gone), I doubt Candy or anyone else will be coming in (unless Coco needs to go on vacation at some point).
[U]Regarding Coco[/U]: Old Gal! I would say she LOOKS mid-40's, which could mean she's possibly in her 50's. Sort of frizzy hair (for an Asian) of length to her nipples (which are like inch long pencil erasers) with bangs cut straight across her eyebrows. Her face is just slightly marked by spots or pocks. . . Couldn't tell which, but suffice it to say her face is NOT polished porcelain. She's rather slim, close to spinner-ish, with moderate sized bolt-ons that seem to have been installed a good long time ago (could feel the separate blobs of silicone inside). She's not completely shaved, so I got a little flossing on the DATY, but it was still nice and generously offered. Her skin appears more brownish of a southeast Asian than the lighter tone of a true Korean or Chinese, which shows up in the darker coloring of her nipples and lips at the 'sweet spot'. Everything was covered, so that was all very ordinary with no particular outstanding segments of the performance. On my way out, she slipped up and told me her name was [B]YOKO[/B] and to remember to come to see her soon! To which I said "[I][u]Yoko[/u]? I thought you were [u]Coco[/u]![/I]" She just laughed and said I could call her either name (so beware if they suddenly have a "new girl" named Yoko, as it could just be this one).
All in all, Yoko-Coco is just sort of ordinary - [U]only OLDER[/U] - than any of the girls to be found at ANY of the other AMPs in the area. The whole reason I go to Sun is for the superior looks, performance, and services of Hannah or Amy, and if the current talent is just. . . Ordinary. . . I'm less inclined to stop in quite so often. As a matter of fact, I would say that I definitely do NOT want to repeat with either Candy or Coco, so I'm probably going to become a Star Sauna regular for a while, otherwise I'll be schlepping all the way up to Pine Tree in Pinellas, or to Tampa.
I look forward to future reports, from all you guys, to keep us updated on anything that changes (or improves) at Sun, and I'm anxiously waiting (and hoping) for the return of our favorites.

I can't believe that after all of this time somebody at Final Touch stole money from my wallet.
It's the only place it could have happened, I was at the bank before going here, then I paid, I know how much I tipped but when I got home there was 300 missing from my wallet. I was willing to forgive the bedbugs I brought home once (I should have said something I know) but stealing is something different.
I will never ever return.
