In my many years posting to this web site, I have never had the urge to flame someone. Until now. Wow, you have officially set the standard for 'tool'. First, I apologize for, it is "McMic" and if you were to type that into any mapping tool, you would get an error, like Google maps error here:

Well no, I meant none of the above, because I meant McMicken Ave. I know Mr. Giani I am using an obscure search engine like Google, I'm sure I am just naive. For the record, "McMicken ave" North of Liberty is difficult to get on from most of the more main roads because of the no left turn and one-way nature of the feeder roads. And don’t give me that "you don’t know how to drive in a city crap", I have lived in Cleveland, Charlotte and spent months at a shot in the big 3 (NY, LA, Chi)

Unaware of my surroundings? I think not, in fact I would put myself into the category of hyper-aware. As I said, this is a very bad hood that I ranked with S. Chicago and LA, both of which I have cruised through. Warez Mexico had a safer feel, the point being I have seen a lot of shit in my time, and this ranks among the shittiest. Oh BTW, that’s an opinion, which, in case you don’t know, is a personal view, attitude, or appraisal.

It is a sociological truth that productive mongering only occurs in depressed areas except in enlightened countries like Netherlands, Costa Rica, etc. Worse than south side Chicago? Give me a break. Somalia? Have you been there?

An SW using crack? I never heard of such a thing. Drugs in a depressed area? Capitalism in practice? A critical aspect of safe mongering is to do an accvurate evaluation the first time you pass the SW. Thin as a rail? Geeking? Nodding off? Open sores? Of COURSE you pass them by.

Remember that being in a totally new neighborhood (correctly) raises ones fear level. In ANY city in which you monger, you are a fool if you do not drive around to familiarize yourself with the setting, the hazards, LE etc. I have friends who have mongered for many years in Over-the-Rhine (McM etc) and none have ever been injured. Ripped off, yes. Scammed, yes. Hassled by the police, yes. But are you telling me these are unique to Cincinnati?

Bottom line. We Cinti mongers may not have monger's paradise, but there are diamonds in the rough, which one can thoroughly enjoy with sufficient care and attention. And the price is weay below what we hear from major cities like LA or San Diego.

I am Glad you saw in his post the samething I saw. No more and No less than anyother city I have been too.

Every city has the same obstacles, problem, and depressed areas. Heck East St. Louis I thought would be a problem, but after a few days and a little conversation I was learning the area.

Even the crime rate here in Cincy in the so-called bad areas is far, far lower than in most major midsize and larger cities. So you will have more Meth-Heads than crackhead, but the Meth-Heads will almost all be in White semi-depressed areas area town and the USA.

I am certain he will feel safer in those areas, once he finds them. And a whole lot less Police presence too. That should make it safer for him.

No doubt the primary reason for this website is mongers and mongering. Endf goal, get laid. BUT those of us who have lived this long doing it share our stories (and some guys pics) with the newbies and friends. Is there really any harm in it ?? Keep in mind, getting teased motivates one to get laid. Kinda like being MARRIED and mongering.

This afternoon in OTR things were JUMPING. Must have seen around 10 WSW in the normal vicinity. They were mostly all of the regulars though that are rough around the edges. Still searching for the diamond though.

Right on the money Getnati! On a swing through OTR today, I saw 7-8. Yes--some rough, some with their boyz, some obvious drug users, a couple of younger ones: a blond in a print sun dress near Findley market, and a tall thin attractively dressed BSW near the swimming pool. But for the latter, I suspect I was watching TV...

BTW, a friend of mine who uses parking garages said recently that a white car followed him out of OTR, including several turns, and behind him into his parking garage. After some evasive maneuvers, he exited the garage in time not to be followed. Does this sound familiar to anyone else? He said his heart rate went up!

It's funny you should mention a white car. Last week a white sedan followed me all around the OTR and well after I left the area. At first I thought it was another monger but he followed me kinda close and kinda long time. I think it might be uncle Leo or one of those community values vigilantes.

The target rich area seems to be shrinking.

Be carefull and check 6 frequently!

I too ran though OTR this afternoon around 3. Everyone was out on a hot summer afternoon. Usual suspects on Elm, McM, down near Main. Saw a tallish blonde WSW I didn't recognize just before Elm on Findlay. She was wearing a brown spaghetti strap top and had a big ole back tat between her shoulder blades.

Also saw some guy getting his car tossed around 13th on Vine. He was just standing there eyeballin' his shoelaces while one bike LE was trying to pull out his front passenger seat and the other bike LE was runnin' his mouth at what looked to be a BSW (I am sure about the B part). Didn't look like fun for anyone involved except the LE riders. No other LE to be found.

A friend of mine called a couple weeks ago to mention that he met a petite WSW named Alice out in NKY around 5:30am one morning. She mentioned that she had a place but he was in a hurry so they agreed on a quick car date. Sounds like she did a pretty good job with a bbbjcim that included lots of roaming hands (his on her). He dropped her off on Corwine so she could invest her newly acquired 0.25 (including tip).

I was going to mention this earlier but we was havin' so much fun comparing OTR to other rough city areas - well, I just couldn't break up the discussion. For the record, since I'm on the topic, give me a freegin' break. Let's take a trip to the South Side of Chicago and talk about the Robert Taylor homes (R.I.P.). Take the stretch of "micmic" from Central all the way to Main, now put 18 20-story high rise buildings on that stretch, then fill 'em with unemployed, underserved civilians and add about 9 different gangs, all fighting for their piece of the turf. Now that was a fun mile of driving at night. Give me micmic any day (y'all do know where micmic is now don't ya?)

Nice to be getting back to bidness, eh?

Heard that another person ran into that Brandy chick in UPH. They said she was horrible! Bad attitude and she even did the ol "take a cig without asking" routine. I would have given her the benifit of the doubt since she did ask to change the station. But they told her hell no! She sounds like she needs to be left alone fo real. Where do these gals pick up their skillz. You'd think they'd be pros by now damnit!

A friend of mine told me Alice has been around forever. He said she did give him the best BJ he had ever had. My friend said he was concerned once when he picked her up because she was freaking out so much about getting caught by the police. It ruined the moment for him. She is heavy into drugs. You might want to look back in this forum you will find that someone else had been ripped off by Alice at one point, an out of towner visiting the area. She has never given my friend any problems although he did say that word on the street is that she has narced on some people before.

Thanks for the heads up. When I passed this along to my friend, he mentioned that she didn't seem to tweaked (at 5:30am) but she was pretty clear about why she wanted to be dropped off on Corwine. So your heavy into drugs comment sounds right on target. Said she didn't have any "getting caught" concerns but she did mention lots of LE activity in NKY, getting hassled for even the slightest thing. Sounds like she keeps an eye on her uncle. As we talked, my friend decided he might take another ride with her since it was a pretty good bbbj but, if there are other choices available, he'll probably take a pass.

Again, thanks for helping my buddy out. He's a close friend and I'd hate to see anything bad happen to him.

Sorry to hear that this person wasted their hard earned cash on a horrible experience. I hate when that happens but sharing it here and learning the lessons from others is how we'll help her break the habits. Eventually, she'll get the message.

I've got a friend who gets really pissed about riders who get in the car and immediatly go for the radio buttons. One day last summer, Beth got in this guy's car and didn't just change the stations - she started reprogramming the buttons. Like, WTF??? They're probably the same chicks who drop into some guys place and start rearranging the furniture.

Sounds like we've got some training to do !
