This was one of the weirdest exchanges I have ever had with a provider. So, about a month ago, I texted Gianna Gene to see if I could set an appointment. I heard back from her later, but my window of opportunity had passed, so I thanked her and asked about future appointments. She said she could be booked through her website. I checked out her website and it states that she requires a deposit be made in advance of an appointment. There is NO WAY I am doing that with anyone, unless I know them VERY well. So, I never followed up. About 2 weeks later, she texts me (I had not texted her) and says she is available. Not wanting to really get into a discussion with her, I just told her I couldn't meet just then and thanked her. 3 weeks after that, she texts me, again unsolicited by me, wanting to know if I was a Preferred 411 member. I tell her no. She says I can book an appointment through her website and she requires a deposit. Now, again, I had not contacted her about setting an appointment, she contacted me. So, I told her that some people, like myself, are very wary about sending money to someone they have never met and that I personally, have to deal on a cash-only basis. And, just because I was trying to be nice about it, I said that I understood things from her side, but that was my side. BOOM! She texts me back saying "sweetheart" you could have just met me in a bar and handed me the deposit, and "sweetheart" she has "had clients from New York that came to Chicago and sent her $900 deposits and more" "but have a good day because you too cheap to send me a deposit of meet up with me" so "I am not the companion for you. " (By this time, I agreed with that last part.) I texted her back and said her response was a bit extreme, but thanks for the insight. She responds "Sweetheart, I don't need insight that's extreme good bye" "You was never going to book appointment you just a time waster blocked. " Well, again, I give her that I was never going to book an appointment with her because I am not going to give her a deposit. But I was not the one contacting her. She was the on texting me.
So, take this story as a warning, but my opinion is: She just exhibited many of the reasons I am not going to send any provider a deposit (though, there are many more) and I am glad that I didn't waste my time seeing her in light of her attitude.
