Now I try not to but I will if pushed. Since going to SA I find the pickings are better but they all seem to insist on it. I think the SB blogs have something to do with it. My point was you often don't have to talk about the sugar. As for SA, my recollection is that you are supposed to put how much you can pay every month in your profile, so that encourages sugar talk. That's a good explanation for me as to why I like to take potential SBs to lunch / dinner to determine chemistry.
