Sometimes incoming texts can get temporarily lost (they always end up getting back into your feed). You need to use it at least once a month or you will lose your number. In the 3 or so years that I've had the service, I still can't figure out how to access the voicemail messages. Overall it's a great deal, sine it's a free app.

Text free is okay but costs money to call out, can receive calls for free tho. I usually give them my real number once I've met a few times or I really enjoy them, makes communication easier as sometimes notifications don't come in and calls get dropper.
